Gillett Cub Scouts
Pack 4035 follows the program established by the Boy Scouts of America.

This morning our Arrow of Light scouts performed the flag folding ceremony in the Veteran's Day Program at the Gillett High School. They also got some folding tips from a scout parent and Veteran. Great Job Scouts! Wonderful program!

Cub Scout Pack 4035 will be marching from the high school to Memorial Park prior to the Memorial Day Service scheduled for 10:00 am on Memorial Day. All community and school organizations, emergency personnel, and individuals are encouraged to meet in the high school parking lot at 9:30 to join the memorial march. The cub scouts are hoping to bring back the tradition.

Pinewood Derby 2023
Congratulations to all the racers for the hard work they did building their cars and the excellent sportsmanship they showed. They raced hard and had tons of fun! Always a great time at the races!šš Looking forward to District Pinewood next weekend.

Itās a Christmas Party!!
Sunday, December 18 at 4:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
We will start the afternoon with a Christmas sing along followed by a gift exchange game. All scouts and siblings looking to join the game will need to bring a wrapped gift worth $5.00, remember both boys and girls will be playing. Santa will be making an appearance and refreshments will be served. Please comment on the Spond event to let us know if you are planning to contribute snacks.

IT'S POPCORN TIME!
If you haven't done so already, please check out the SPOND app and sign up for some Super Saturday selling events! We set up the popcorn and have everything there and all you need to do is have your scout show up and sell popcorn! Super easy!
Also reminder that the new scouting event is being held on Sept. 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the clock church, so if you know anyone interested in scouting, please have them attend!
Our first pack meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4:30 p.m. at the clock church! We'll have relay races and games for the kids while the parents get all the information needed for the year!
We will once again be in the Labor Day Parade in Suring on Monday, Sept. 5! Please have scouts in uniform. Parade starts at 10...meet by the Suring school at 9:30!
Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can get a head count! Parents are encouraged to walk with in the parade!
Laona Steam Train Cowboy Reenactment - October 1... event details will be posted on Spond so please check that out and let us know if you'll be attending so we can order tickets!
Money will be due 8/30...we will be at the back to school night or you can make arrangements with Rhonda or Michelle.

Rockets and root beer floats this afternoon! The scouts assembled rockets and shot them off! They really flew! We were able to recover 3 of the 5. Then they got to enjoy root beer floats! Yum! Great job scouts and parents!
The scouts participated in a National Prayer Day event held at Zippel Park in Gillett yesterday.
Northern Lights District Derby today! We had 4 scouts from Pack 4035 participate. Congrats Urijah, Mason, Dougie, and Felix! Another fun day of racing!

All registration fees, summer camp fees, candy bar money, etc. due April pack night!
Last month the scouts participated in the pinewood derby! There were some really creative, fast cars! Congrats to the winners and fantastic job to all kids showing great sportsmanship!
Last weekend the scouts went door to door handing out door hangers for the food drive, and today they collected the bags of food! Great job scouts!! All food will be donated to a local pantry to stay within the community!
Scouting for Food distribution is this Saturday April 2. Meet at the church at 9:00 to help pass out fliers. Come back on the 9th to help pick up donations.
