Novena Day 3

Theme:The proof of the living God(Exodus 4:1-5).

We find Moses questioning his ability to perform the task of freeing the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. He expresses his doubts and concerns to God, asking for a sign that will demonstrate God's power and presence. This interaction between Moses and God conveys an important message about the existence of a living God.

In this conversation, Moses asks God what he should do if the Israelites do not believe him or listen to his words. God responds by asking Moses what he has in his hand, to which Moses replies, "A staff." God then instructs Moses to throw his staff on the ground, where it transforms into a snake. God goes on to tell Moses to pick up the snake by its tail, and as Moses obeys, the snake turns back into a staff in his hands.

This miraculous transformation is a powerful sign of God's existence and power. It demonstrates that He is alive and actively involved in the affairs of humanity. By turning Moses' ordinary staff into a snake, and then back into a staff, God shows His control over the natural order of things. It reveals His authority and ability to perform supernatural wonders.

I pray God should prove himself in your situation.

Join us again tomorrow same time!

Novena Day 2

Theme:The plan of God and bringing it to manifestation! (Jeremiah 29:11)

The plan of God is a divine blueprint that surrounds everything in existence. It is a comprehensive plan that outlines the purpose and destiny of every individual and all of creation. This plan is not limited by time or space but rather transcends all boundaries.

Bringing the plan of God to manifestation is a process that involves both divine intervention and human cooperation. As human beings, we are given free will to choose how we participate in this process. We can align ourselves with the plan of God or deviate from it.

God’s plan is not a static concept, but rather a dynamic and ever-evolving journey. It is not a predetermined path that we simply follow, but rather a path that we actively co-create with God. This requires our willingness to surrender our agendas and desires, and instead align ourselves with the will of God.

To bring the plan of God to manifestation, we need to cultivate a deep spiritual awareness and connection with the divine. This involves seeking God’s guidance through prayer, meditation, and studying sacred texts. It also requires us to develop qualities such as faith, patience, humility, and trust.

Join us tomorrow let continue seeking God's presence

The church today in St Peter Parish Ekpri Nsukara is embarking on a special nine-day Novena with the theme "My Thoughts For You Are That Of Peace Not Of Evil, To Give A Future & Hope" (Jeremiah 23:11). This Novena is an opportunity for the members of the church and the community to come together in prayer and seek God's guidance and blessings.

The chosen theme from Jeremiah 23:11 reflects the church's desire for peace, prosperity, and hope in people's lives. It serves as a reminder that God wants the best for His people and offers them a promising future. By delving into the powerful words of this scripture, the church aims to inspire faith, trust, and confidence among its congregation.

During these nine days, the church encourages everyone to come and pray together. The Novena will include various prayer sessions, reflections, and meditations, allowing participants to connect with God on a deeper level. It is an opportunity for individuals to seek solace, find direction, and experience the peace that comes from surrendering their worries to a higher power.

The church firmly believes in the power of prayer and the efficacy of bringing one's desires and concerns before God. By coming together as a community, they hope to create a collective energy of positive thoughts and intentions. This shared focus on peace and hope will enable participants to draw closer to God, find solace in His presence, and experience His blessings.

The Novena serves as a reminder for individuals to entrust their futures into God's hands. It encourages them to let go of worries and fears, knowing that God's plans are far greater than their own. By surrendering their hopes, dreams, and concerns to Him, they can find reassurance, comfort, and strength in the knowledge that He is in control.

So, let us all come together and participate in this sacred Novena, lifting our hearts and minds to God, believing that He hears our prayers and that His thoughts towards us are that of peace and hope
