Dear FTCSC Parents,
Franklin Township Community School Corporation will hold an eLearning Day for students and a professional development day for staff on Tuesday, November 19th. While this day was not originally scheduled as an eLearning Day, we hope that we are providing you with enough time to plan for the change. Last year, FTCSC implemented eLearning Days. An eLearning Day allows a student to continue their education remotely. Please remember that you can find all the information you need in regards to an eLearning Day at our website https://ftcsc.org/academic-department/elearning-days/. Teachers and schools will be providing more information about the Tuesday, November 19th eLearning Day over the next week and a half. If you have any questions on Tuesday, please contact the main office of your child's school. There will be staff available to assist you.
Tuesday, November 19th is the start of the 2020 Legislative Session. It is also a "RED For Ed" Action Day. On Tuesday, November 19th many educators, support staff, administrators, parents and community members from all over Indiana will be holding a rally at the Statehouse in support of and to advocate for public education. We are proud of our amazing FTCSC educators and we support their decision to exercise their right to advocate for public education. We support RED (Republicans, Educators and Democrats) working together to better public education. You can learn more about RED For Ed Action Day by visiting the following website https://www.ista-in.org/invest-in-education.
We thank you in advance for your support of our staff and public education!
Sincerely,
FTCSC Central Office Admin Team

After graduating from High School in Savanna, IL and going to college for 1 year she joined the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis- now Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington State. After 16 years of living in the Pacific Northwest she relocated to Indianapolis, IN and is raising her 3 sons as a single mother. She chose to make Franklin Township their new residence. She has been a parent volunteer throughout her sons years of attending school public school.
She is an Army Veteran and currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Two of sons attend Franklin Central and one attends Kitley Elementary.
Jamicka has realized when she was very young that her passion and calling is motivating and inspiring others to live life to the fullest. She has been on a quest to ensure everyone knows their purpose in life and know that YOU MATTER! She is a published author and lives by what her books stands for.
As a single mother her life is full, but she enjoys volunteering at their schools when time permits and she does her best not to miss any of their sporting and school events. Her and her sons love to go on mini road trips either attending sporting events or just sightseeing.
Jamicka is a Goal Getter! Every year she sets out new goals for herself and inspires others to do the same. She has a genuine love for life and all people and is excited about her new role as PFO President at Franklin Central High School. She greets everyone with an infectious smile and looks forward to serving alongside other parents, faculty, and staff members at the school and in the community.
