Just finished the largest custom order my company has ever had and I’m in tears. Good tears.

The organization this order is for, holds a special place in my heart.

It was one that really played a giant part in who I am today, and introduced me to some of my most favorite people in the world.

While I was washing this order out the other day, I had a moment. A moment where it all sorta came full circle and reminded me WHY is started this business. Reminded why I make bright, beautiful, joyful clothing for others to love and cherish.

I make clothing because when you put it on it makes you feel something. It makes you remember something. A thought, a feeling, a moment, a person. Clothing does different things for everyone. But for me, it brings joy and excitement. Confidence and uniqueness.

I make clothing because I want to create something that makes people FEEL. That brings them joy and comfort.

We all have those items in our closets that are own favorites or that we cherish because of the memories attached. Or a giant tote of old shirts we just can’t seem to let go even though they don’t fit anymore. (I make those babies into custom t-shirt quilts, in case you were wondering or needing something to do with yours 😜)

It brings a special kind of joy to me knowing that somewhere in this world, someone picks up something I’ve made and cherishes it. Or that it is their favorite piece in their closet.

TW: Miscarriage

I had a particularly sad photo of myself pop up on my Snapchat memories today. A year ago today, I was in the middle of dealing with my second miscarriage in less than a year. I was devastated, broken and hopeless. Wondering why the universe would be so cruel.

Fast forward a year, my rainbow angel baby is here!! And she is the most perfect little soul.

I’ll never understand why I never got to meet my first two babies, but I do know that I will be forever grateful that Zara choose me to be her mama! She is my driving force more now than ever. I’m a creator at my core and she is by far the greatest creation of my life. No art will ever compare.

This is the onesie I made to tell Brent that we were pregnant again and it will be one that I cherish forever. The day Z finally fits into, I’ll be a gd mess lol I just know it!!

This is the power of clothing. It seems mundane and everyday, but this is my reason. My creating this onesie brought me and my family hope and excitement in a dark time. It brought us together.

It is my intention that every piece I make, makes someone feel something. Confident. Hopeful. Joyful. Comfortable. Sexy. Whatever feeling you need to emote that day.
