The future is looking bright in B***y B***y Ha Ha land! We’ve got such an exciting roster of shows to close out the rest of 2024 😍

Up first, we have our annual improv mini-shows at 9PM on Friday, September 13 at in Cedar Rapids & Saturday, September 14 at in Iowa City! Our co-producer will be coming down from Chicago to play & our beloved will be coming to host both nights, but other than those two fools, it will be a brand new cast & set of songs for each night! No tickets required, just pay cover at the door. 💋

Then we’ve got our big Halloween show, B***Y HORROR, headlined by glamour ghouls from New Orleans and from Chicago! 😈 Friday, October 18 at our old haunt in Cedar Rapids and Saturday, October 19 at in Iowa City! Doors 7PM, show 8PM. Tickets coming soOooOoOoOon! 👻

In November, we’ve got another set of mini-shows at & , this time candy-themed! 🍭🍬

Finally, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that are collaborating with the amazing Blake Shaw and his big band to produce our first live band show at on Saturday, December 14! 🤩 This show will star the reigning Ms. Exotic World 2024 and the sassy, classy, but never ashy Top 50 Most Influential performers in the world 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Allow me to brag on myself for a moment: I’m proud to say I’ve mentored dozens of baby burlesquers from zero stage experience to confident performers ✨ I’ve offered insights to established performers that have transformed acts they’ve been performing for years ✨ I have two master’s degrees including an MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop so you better believe we can write you a beautiful bio & tagline ✨ I’ve been teaching creative writing at the university level for over 8 years, so yeah, I know how to lead a workshop 😉 ✨ & I’ve been producing B***y B***y Ha Ha since 2018 and it’s just growing bigger and better and bawdier with every year! The Queen of Hell and her Archangel lover sit on thrones of volcanic ash & cloud. Can they ever be together? Or will one inevitably be eviscerated by the other’s power? The Queen reaches for the light, hoping her q***r savior will come save her from the rotting dark. He comes, and he is beautiful! But the Queen of Hell feels too good in Heaven—she is powerful enough to rule both realms and the Archangel can’t find the desire to oppose her. Corrupted by her demonic influence, the angel falls.

Truly such a thrill to bring Honey and Ether Photography’s vision of Heaven & Hell to life with my love Matt Adore! Lisa’s photoshop skills are OUT OF THIS WORLD, and Tori did such a fantastic job on my hair and makeup! I am in love with those two as a creative duo, and the ampersand of Carmen & Mary make the whole experience such a blast. If you’re anywhere near the Quad Cities, I can’t recommend working with Honey & Ether enough!
