Reuse, reduce, recycle

The kids decided they wanted to make their own crayons from broken ones. Great way for them to use their imagination. This wasn't guided or suggested. Which makes it that mu greate to say yes when they asked.

One looks like the earth 🌎!

We used cupcake liners to not ruin the cupcake pan. It did seep through a bit but cleaned ok.

1. Choose crayons 🖍 that you'd like to use
2. Remove all paper from crayons
3. Line cupcake pan with cupcake liners
4. Place crayon 🖍 pieces to line the bottom of the liner. You can do higher if you'd like the crayon thicker.
5. Bake in oven at 300 degrees until melted.
6. Once they have cooled down they pop out of the cupcake liners.

⚠️ warning it does smell- you may want to open your windows if you have a sensitive nose)

You can use different shapes and sizes. There are many cute silicone molds, ice cube molds are a good size.
