Stonewall Flower Mural
What did YOU do over the long weekend? For the team at the GAC, we put paint to wall and installed a temporary mural at Historic Stonewall, JUST in time for Gallatin Art Week and the upcoming Historic Stonewall Music and Arts Festival! Featuring the TN State Flower - the iris! - as well as the two TN State Wildflowers - passionflower and echinancea (often known as Black-Eyed Susan) - this mural brings together the whimsy of spring, the creativity of its creators, and the richly storied history of our state. We LOVED painting it, and we can't wait to see amazing photos in front of it, too! Let us know if you find it, and make sure to tag us AND use the #gallatincreates hashtag when you post - we may even feature you on the page! #gallatintn #gallatincreates #locallove #gallatinartscouncil #gallatinartweek #GACpublicartinbloom
