Fine art jewelry collection | Tangible reminders for women of their truest identity #AdorntheBeloved

Photos from Everyday Heirloom & Co.'s post 21/06/2024

Every one of our signature designs is carved by hand by none of than artist and master penman 👏🏼 and designed with so 👏🏼much👏🏼significance 👏🏼and detail.

🌿Everyday Heirloom’s hand-sculpted palm branch is carved with twelve total leaves, emphasizing the importance of twelve throughout scripture (twelve tribes of Israel, twelve disciples, measurements of twelve used in and around the Holy City in Revelation 21).

Beloved, we are entering a season of Hosanna: a season of worship for the God Who Saves. Let us prepare the way of the Lord in His second coming! Until that day, let us pave a path of righteousness for those who are to flourish on our vine of faith. May our worship echo heaven on earth and unite every generation, nation, every tribe and tongue.

We will sing, and they will cry with one voice, “Hosanna!”

If the smallest of creatures has the attention of our God, how much more do we as His Beloved? You are seen when no one else is looking; the eyes of the Father are on you. He knows what you need. Beloved, wear this tangible reminder of His faithfulness and remember: You are worth more than many sparrows. 🪶

From His heart, to mine, to yours. 🫶🏼 I’ll do this until heaven comes for us all.

10/05/2024

Perhaps a new installment of — little encouragements that are on my heart, from me to you, Beloved. 🫶🏼

And this sentiment is true: I often find myself tearing up, praying for you and earnestly interceding for you. Beloved, we are the Church. We are the Bride. And the holy heaviness of our identity as such is laid on my heart like a weight of glory. 🔥

He is for you. He is coming. Hold fast.

Every design within the wearable art collection is meant to serve as tangible reminders of our identity here and now but it’s also created with the intention of passing on a legacy of faithfulness to future generations.

Tag the Beloved who would love this reminder of flourishing faithfulness. 🌿

The first of our sculpted design collection. 🪽

This hand-carved six-winged necklace pendant folds over itself three times, echoing God’s supreme holiness and glory as the Seraphim do. Also reminiscent of the wings covering the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Holy of Holies, this modern tri-fold depiction of wings whispers the truth that we are the Now-Tabernacle, the tent of meeting: we now find communion with God in the innermost part of our being. We are home of the Holy Spirit in whom he dwells (John 14:17).

Birds in the air, they don’t worry
The sun’s never scared that it won’t rise
If all of creation depends on your goodness
Why oh why can’t I?
Anxiety is such a human thing
But what do the creatures know about you?
They all know you’re faithful and you’re true
You’ll do everything you said you would do
They all know you’re lovely and you’re just
I know these things but I must
Admit that I’m so human sometimes
Everything you’ve done for all of creation
You’ve done it in my life

— Anna Golden

The Sparrow Signet (and all her iterations in the collection!) hold a special place in our hearts as we cast our cares into the Creator of all things and all creatures. 🪶

If He cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for you, Beloved? You are worthy many sparrows. 🪶

We are creating ebenezers — aka, tangible reminders — of God’s faithfulness for our everyday lives. We create these “stones of remembrance” to mark the long journey toward heaven, looking back and declaring, “Thus far the Lord has been faithful!” (See 1 Samuel 7:12.)

And more recently the Lord has been kind to show me this verse from Isaiah —“YOU WILL WEAR ALL YOUR CHILDREN AS JEWELRY AND PUT THEM ON AS A BRIDE DOES.”

So much of our work draws from themes of marriage (our own, in fact) which is a glimpse at the marriage to the Bridegroom and His Bride (the Beloved) — and our call is to adorn her and prepare her heart for the marriage supper of the Lamb!

But there’s a generational aspect to this call. While we remind ourselves in our everyday lives of His goodness, we are living out a faith legacy that will cover our children as well.

We adorn the women today, in our age, with the hopes that they will then adorn their children with the truth and beauty of the gospel in the time to come. What a picture of heaven, y’all. 🥹

Thanks for being on the journey with us, Beloved.

Comment BELOVED and I’ll send you a link to our gift guide and you can explore which tangible reminder is made for YOU (or a friend) this season — & beyond.

Firstly — we released the Sparrow Coin Signet entitled ‘Are Not Two Sparrows?’ over our digital fast via email to our our collectors. Your response to the design has been breath taking. Thank you for spurring us on. 🪶

Jake hand carved all of the detail of the sparrows (even down to the eyes of the birds!) and the coins we selected to set as a signet are widow’s mites that were in circulation around the time of Christ. Read the full story of this design inspired by Matthew 10 & Mark 12 at everydayheirloomco.com — I hope your heart is spurred on toward Christ after engaging with this artful depiction of these verses and His Word.

Secondly — you just found your new favorite song. Save this one and play it loud next time you’re in the car alone. You can thank me later 😉

His eyes are on you, Beloved. Thanks for always receiving our work with such gracious and open hearts. Can’t wait to share what’s coming this week to the collection.

This design surprised even us when we held it for the first time in our hands. 🥹 The strings of the harp become to chains of the necklace, letting this be a “wrapping up” of the beloved in a song of hallelujah!

The harp is symbolizes worship in heaven and earth, joy, blessings, comfort, deliverance, peace, praise, and restoration.

Comment below and we will send you the “mini devo” for this design that shares more in-depth what this symbol means in the context of scripture and how it applies to our everyday lives as the beloved. 🎵

is currently in the midst of book writing and the story of has made its way in there…nearly 6 years into this business I never wanted but God knew I needed, I’m beginning to wrap arms of understand around why He invited me (and continues to invite me every day) into this grand venture of smallness: because He loves me. 🥹

Six Spring seasons ago, Jake pitched the idea of EH to me, and he said this: “Hannah, I’ve got an idea and I need you to hear me out. I think you need to start your own business. You’ve supported me for so long in my passion and now it is time for me to support you. I think there is something in you the Lord wants to release and I’m here to help with that anyway I can.” Side note, but not to be left out: This all was transpiring with the creation of Jake’s rendering of “His Eye is on the Sparrow” as the backdrop to life at the time. 🪶 God is sure to disciple us through our work and this piece would be pivotal in our life as He reminded us steadily, day by day, that His eye was on us…so much so, that EH was originally called Little Bird Boutique, but it was later renamed.

God is surely releasing something in me, between Jake and I, that is 6 years in and only the beginning. 🥹 I can’t for you to read the full account of the story, contextualized in crippling fear and doubt, blessings that became burdensome, and ultimately God’s unfailing faithfulness as He chooses to work in weakness and smallness in our everyday for His glory.

Drop a 👋🏼 in the comments if you’ve been here since day one (anyone?) and witnessed this venture of smallness grow (by His grace alone). 🌱 He isn’t finished with us yet.

Our Becoming butterfly wing pendant hangs upside down in the same position a butterfly breaks out of its chrysalis — this was done intentionally as we wanted the wearer to be reminded daily of the newness the beloved experiences in Christ.

Instead of an upright butterfly in flight, like we often see depicted in other jewelry or art, this vulnerable position captures the emerging butterfly in her new identity. We found this position to truly capture BECOMING. 🦋

While we aim to make timeless, beautiful things – tangible reminders of God’s faithfulness – we won’t be chasing trends. In order to aim for heaven, we must be looking up; always looking to embody Christ in our personal lives which overflows into this work…

Heaven is closer than we think. That’s what we’re aiming for. I hope you’ll join us? This isn’t our work alone, but yours, too, if you’ll help us carry it? The message is ours, Beloved. 🕊️

The most rewarding aspect of stewarding ? The sisterhood. The community. The gathering of the beloved in real time all over the globe and how it’s but a mere glimpse of the holy city that is coming (Rev. 21:2).

Introducing my new and already dear friend . 🦋 Its because if this friend that the new EH Becoming design fluttered off the sketchbook page and into our hands and around your necks.

When Jessica shared the vision for this year’s conference, Own the Image, it unlocked a design that was 12 years in the making for me personally. There’s more to that story but it involved the first page of a journal and me writing the word BECOMING across the top in early spring of 2012. The Spirit told me I was on a journey of becoming. 🦋

And YOU have your own becoming story…I want to testify alongside you that God has been working in your story even when you couldn’t see it. I pray that God will give you a fresh mercy to trace His faithfulness throughout your story up until this very moment.

I’m convinced, now more than ever, that we don’t become who God has called us to be in isolation, but we *become* together. 🦋 So grateful for the ways God works in and thorough the beloved for His glory and our good. Love you and cheering you on, !!! Thank you for being the catalyst that brought this design from chrysalis to full wingspan. 🦋

I honestly wish I could remember where I first heard this phrasing — but it convicted me and has altered the way I approach social media and platforms of any kind. I’ve confessed time and again (tearfully and repentantly), “God I don’t want this if you’re not in it.” It’s a heart check and a posture of surrender: God, lead me in this if you’re here. Help me to let go of it if you’re not. Like pillars of fire and pillars of smoke, I’m willing to follow, without expectation other than His presence will be with me.

And so, the heart behind this brand, this message, this effort, is one that I pray isn’t the result of striving or marketing oneself (how exhausting), but rather a “set apart” place — a people and a space marked by His presence, where His Spirit rests, that is the overflow of everything we do here. 🕊️

May we live in such a way that makes an inviting home for the Spirit and may our lives be marked by Jesus, resting into our Belovedness.

The artist gets there first. Unpacking this idea that has guided and I in our making for over a decade now. We have lived this message and have now experienced a growing encouragement from the Spirit to share what we know and what we have lived with Him.❤️‍🔥

In short, the surrendered artist creates unto God in worship. When we do this, we prepare the Beloved’s hearts for ahis coming and usher in heaven.

I nursed two babies the year Henry was born. While I nursed him I was also nursing along this business in the wee hours of the night (or was it morning?) listing things I could care less about on an Etsy site and wondering when I could be done with this business (if I could call it that). So much has changed, so much has happened since those sleepless nights-turned-mornings.

This year my business baby and my baby baby turned 5. I started EH (reluctantly, full of doubt) when I was seven months pregnant with Henry, my middle child (which to say that is a miracle in and of itself since I swore I was “done” with two babies and two businesses; feeling like too little butter spread over too much bread. Thanks, Lord, for opening the eyes of my heart and expanding my tent. More on that later).

Five feels like a milestone. I look back at this photo (just before his first birthday) and think just how far we’ve come; how far *I*have come. Thank you, Lord, for not letting us stay where you found us. I had zero vision for what EH could be — but God knew. He was faithful when I was faithless.

If I could put my hand on this mama’s shoulder, I’d look her in the eyes and tell her: “God didn’t forget you. Quite the opposite: There’s a million miracles in your story — this is one of them.”

Happy 5 years to my boy — you’re as wild and adventurous as the journey itself been.

This design was 12 years in the making. 🦋 April 2012 on the first page of a leather bound journal, God prompted me to write the word BECOMING across the top and He then proceeded to define it for me through a revelation of wisdom. I was 19 years old about to meet my husband (I didn’t know it at the time), marry quickly and soon undertake a calling that I felt vastly under qualified for. The Spirit would whisper to me time and again through this decade, “You are Becoming. Trust me.”

This sketch of a butterfly wing lived in our sketchbook for years, untouched. Until now.🦋

I’m excited to share more with you all as I begin to write steadily via at adornthebeloved.com 🦋 stay tuned for the full story

🦋 Beloved, you are BECOMING.

Only in Christ do we become our true selves. 🦋 The greatest evidence of our faith is a transformed life — it’s how we are living our everyday lives in our God-given identity as citizens of heaven; as image-bearers; as co-heirs with Christ; as daughters; as the Beloved.

About Us

We are husband + wife artists growing two beautiful babies and building two creative businesses from our foothills studio in Denver, CO.

Jake is a professional artist and certified as one of eleven Master Penman in the world. Jake was certified through IAMPETH (International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting) in July 2011. He holds the title as the youngest Master Penman by three decades and the youngest to ever attain the title. A few of Jake's peers (other Masters) have done work for the White House, Queen Elizabeth and even the Pope. His journey into calligraphy has been the "special sauce" for everything he now creates, incorporating the traditional calligraphic flourishing into his fine art. Jake is self-taught in each of his disciplines (calligraphy, painting, drawing, woodworking, and, of course, engraving). Everything "art" makes sense to him.

I am a writer by nature and love everything involved in the creation of an art piece. More than the finished work, I have become obsessed with the process of becoming. Being the intimate on-looker and recipient of Jake's most meaning-filled art, I have the unique responsibility to capture each story -- our story-- as we lean evermore into our Calling to create.

Our life is marked by an old-world romance with a mission to bring beauty and truth to people through art (psst, our full-time gig is here at jakeweidmann.com).

Our hand-engraved jewelry is one-of-a-kind and uniquely you as we customize each order. You have the opportunity to capture the beautiful calligraphic romance of Jake's masterful penmanship in a necklace for you and someone you love. Consider our work a wearable love letter inscribed with your memories, forever etched into your heart.
