Anxiety and a wandering mind have the same cause. It's the mind jumping into past or future. Both is leaving the present moment drifting into an illusory world of memories or imagination of things to come. Resting in the presence is accepting things as they are fully. Then mind can become still and rest. This requires a deep letting go and acceptance. The foundation is the understanding that you are enough as you are, perfectly created. Then trust in letting go is easier, mind can relax into its being. Drop, let go is the key.

Learn to have fun! Fun softens the suffering, sitting and facing everything dissolves it, so you must have fun in the process.

ā€Six Words of Adviceā€ by Tilopa

Don't Recall. Let go of what has passed.
Don't Imagine. Let go of what may come.
Don't Think. Let go of what is happening now.
Don't Examine. Donā€™t try to figure anything out.
Don't Control. Donā€™t try to make anything happen.
Rest. Relax, right now, and rest.
