ma'ono is known for their fried chicken and their hot fried chicken sandwich is delishhh! it's a crispy fried chicken breast on a king’s sweet bun with daikon pickles, kewpie mayo, and iceberg.

they have five heat options and "hot" is basically 4 stars. it costs 50 cents extra but worth if you like spicy! it's not burn your tongue hot, just enough to get you going.

i like their ma'ono seasoned fries too, crisp and chewy at the same time.

We hear you loud and clear, friends! We know that the smaller buns on our sandwiches have been a point of concern, but we want to reassure you that the chicken portion has always stayed the same size and just as delicious as ever!

We value your feedback and in response, we are happy to announce that we're switching back to the original Kings Hawaiian buns as soon as possible. Thanks for letting us know how we can improve, and we can't wait to serve you again soon!

We have indeed closed our West Seattle, Alaska Junction location, for good.

We had an amazing 14 years serving our West Seatte community and we had a blast doing so! We will cherish so many memories of all the people who made Sping Hill to Ma'ono happen everyday. A HUGE thank you to all our staff past and present, our vendors and most importantly, our community. You've supported us through our highs and lows and we are grateful to so many people that have supported us along our journey.

Please know that this is a positive evolution for our Ma'ono family's future. We have started up our commissary & cloud kitchen in the Admiral district of West Seattle and we will soon be offering our fried chicken sandwiches and sides for pick up and delivery! We are super excited for this evolution of how we operate and we look forward to continued service to our West Seattle community! Our locations in Rachel's Ginger Beer are still going strong and we will be reopening in their Capitol Hill location soon! ♥️
