Every once and awhile, the unexpected happens. I had never seen this woman before today. I’ve heard her in the phone and developed a desire to have a conversation. Never expressed my desire to anyone. She showed up today. Please believe it when I tell you that the words that she spoke were Golden. I truly needed that confirmation. Thank you Minister Floyd for your presence and spirit.

Today is test day at a new market.

Due to totally unforeseen circumstances, I am forced to dissolve this company in an effort to make a return. I will no longer be selling pies under the NFI logo. Please watch for the return, with the same graphics but titled as an LLC. The five year run is evidence of a good process for creating new fruit pies. I WILL NEVER QUIT. It has truly been a beautiful experience. Research and development will continue. Cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, peach, blueberry, mango, mango/pineapple, tweetie, strawberry and triple berry are all solid recipes. What’s your favorite fruit? Can it be made into a pie? Let me know in the comments section and I’ll work on it and let you know how it turns out. Apple, pear, and dragon fruit are definitely going to be pursued. I will let you know how they turn out.
