GCSE results day is on Thursday 22nd August. Students who are receiving results this year are invited into school to collect them from the Heartspace between 9.30am and 11am. Representatives from local colleges will be present to give you advice should you need it.

If any students are unable to attend, results may be collected by a family member instead but we must receive written permission from the student to allow this. Alternatively, the results can be emailed to the student’s school email address.

First Ever Educate Rochdale Awards!

Falinge Park High School is looking for the support of our families and the community we serve.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the borough’s first ever Educate Rochdale Awards sponsored by Reed Education.
Educate Rochdale Awards aim to build an inspirational and inclusive legacy that will resonate across our community, celebrating Rochdale’s education heroes and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The winners will be revealed at a special ceremony on Friday 8th November 2024 at Rochdale Town Hall where that hard work will be recognised in an evening filled with passion and energy.
Educate Rochdale Awards 2024 looks set to be a truly special evening which will uplift and inspire, celebrating the tremendous work of our educators, acknowledging the dedication, innovation, and commitment of individuals who inspire and uplift our school communities on a daily basis.

On Wednesday the 19th of June, we celebrate 'National Thank A Teacher Day' with our own 'Day of Gratitude' where we thank every member of Falinge Park High School staff who contribute to making our school such a special place to work, aspire, thrive and achieve. Students and Parents – Falinge Park High School The process of applying to college can seem like a long one! Here is a rough guide of what will happen and the things you need to do.

Following a successful delivery of the 'Refuge, Remedy and Reunite' Poetry Project which took place at school and M6 Theatre, Rochdale earlier this year, a showcase of our Year 7 Poetry in Residence work and a related visual art exhibition of willow work will go on display at Manchester Poetry Library and Manchester Metropolitan University from the 13th of June 2024. The exhibition is available for families to see over the Summer holidays until September during most weekdays. For more details about this project, please contact Mr De Courcey.

Year 8 FPHS Factory International Schools Programme students have had the opportunity to participate in a fantastic photography exhibition at Factory International and Aviva Studios this weekend, contributing to the prestigious ' WOW - Women of the World Festival'. Which takes place on Saturday and Sunday of May 2024. Titled 'My Stomping Ground' and curated by the artist Alina Akbar, students have taken a range of original photographs, many of which form part of a great photobook and part of the exhibition at the venue itself. Well done to all the participating students and many thanks to Factory International Engagement Team for the opportunity afforded to our learners. Year 10 end of year exams will commence on Tuesday 4th June. Pupils will be sitting exams in each of their subject areas. It is extremely important that pupils are revising in preparation for these exams. Revision material can be accessed via the I college and Google Classroom through the school website. Please ensure that your child is prepared and equipped for each of their exams. There are extra revision classes being held in the various subjects which your child will be able to attend
