Bundt offerings
There might be something better than a Bundt™ cake, but I don't know what that would be.
White Peach Pound Cake -- indescribably delicious!
When she just really, really loves cookies and cream! The cake is mostly white with crumbled Oreos, with a marbled chocolate layer; two flavors of frosting. Yummmmm.
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing. Unbeatable!
If one Black Chocolate with Cream Cheese Filling is good, four would be quadruple delicious, right? That's my theory. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Let's eat cake.
Have you baked a Bundt™ today?
Little German Chocolate Bundts. Because they are so rich, the miniaturization is appropriate and appreciated by conscientious diners. I dropped the scoops of coconut-pecan filling with my tiny ice cream scoop. They didn't sink much; next time I'll add batter of the top of them.
Starting off the new year right. This recipe has no fat, no dairy, no eggs, low sugar. WHOLE WHEAT CHOCOLATE BANANA APPLESAUCE CAKES: 2 very ripe bananas, 1/2 C sugar, 1/4 C brown sugar, 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce, 1/3 C water, 1 t white vinegar, 1 1/4 C whole wheat flour, 1/4 cocoa, 1 t baking soda, 1/4 t salt, 2/3 C chocolate morsels. When the entire beehive is just too much, make half a hive and use the rest of the batter for cakelets. The recipe from Williams-Sonoma was delicious!
I hope the birthday girl will beeeee happy with her cakes!
Hoping the recipient will not interpret these critters as yellow jackets; they will be trim on a Honey-Lemon Beehive cake.

Come over to the dark chocolate side.
Skull bitelets. Somewhat repulsive, yet delicious! Don't forget the brains.
Ah! An afternoon snack of chilled monkey brains, a la Indiana Jones. Refreshing, yet strangely addictive. Loving the no-color vanilla extract; doesn't tint the batter brown.
Silly me! I got so excited when taking these out of the oven I forgot to take more photos. You'll just have to imagine them with a shiny ganache drip and chocolate curls. Yes, they were yummy, especially with the cream cheese dollops inside. For that I blended 8 ounces of cream cheese, 2 T black cocoa, 1/3 C sugar, and 1 egg. I dropped this mixture in half-filled cavities with a tiny ice cream scoop, then topped with more batter and baked for 22 minutes. So moist and delectable! They were all given away as birthday cakes for friends. ♥
Anyone care for rhubarb scones?
