A total of 86 officers and members of Barangay Power Association (BAPA) from President Quirino, Tacurong City and Lambayong attended a forum earlier today, June 13, 2024 held at MCO Center, SUKELCO Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.

The forum initiated by SUKELCO Area-1 Office, was conducted to increase the level of awareness of BAPA members and presented the following topics namely: SUKELCO Profile and Services, unbundled power rates and the implementing guidelines of Lifeline Discount and Senior Citizen Discount. They were presented by Corporate Planning and Research Division Supervisor, Rochelle C. Fabian CPA, Corporate Communication Services and Marketing Section Head, Jonathan A. Leysa and Members and Public Affairs Division Supervisor, Aileen B. Suello respectively.

“BAPA is considered as one of the successful programs of National Electrification Administration that is beneficial to SUKELCO for it lessens area operation like reading, collection and disconnection,” said Atty. Glenn P. Lamery, CPA on his message for on behalf of the Office of the General Manager.

Dir. Welson U. Ferrer, MPA, District Director of Tacurong, also graced the event and discussed the significant role of our linemen in order to keep the lights on, hence, encouraged everyone to help one another and properly address the concerns to SUKELCO for proper action.

Dr. Wilfredo Evangelista, Area-1 Services Department Manager, presented the rationale of the program, and the responsibilities of BAPA officers. He also shed light and emphasized the process flow of meter reading and billing and revisited the BAPA Memorandum of Agreement in order to review the written understanding of both parties.

It ended with an open forum which was also addressed and acted appropriately by the SUKELCO Area-1 Office.

In line with SUKELCO’s commitment to maintaining a safe and accident free working environment, a total of one hundred (100) employees attended Road Safety and Defensive Driving Seminar conducted by Land Transportation Office, Region 12 earlier today, June 11, 2024 held at MCO Center, SUKELCO Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.

The said seminar was held to enhance the awareness of drivers on road safety, orient the responsibilities of drivers and present the transportation-related ordinances in order to reduce the risk of driving by anticipating hazardous situations or the driving errors of others.

Engr. Joemar G. Sevillano, OIC General Manager, expressed his appreciation to Institutional Services Department for initiating activities that promote safety especially to all the drivers of SUKELCO. According to him, it is important to equip the employees with the right attitude to develop their safety consciousness and strengthen their sense of responsibility.

Mr. Roan Ralph M. Arellano, Law enforcer, LTO 12 and Mr. Salahodin M. Calimbaba, Administrative Aide IV, were the invited resource speakers who discussed the provisions of the Land Transportation and Traffic Code, also known as Republic Act No. 4136 and the Special Laws and New Issuances implemented by the agency.

Francisco L. Torres, Jr., Institutional Services Department Manager, gave a closing message and extended his thanks to the resource speakers and challenged the attending participants to put into the practice the knowledge they acquired in the seminar.

Congratulations to our EAP (Educational Assistance Program) Grantee for passing in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Second termer District Directors of President Quirino-Columbio and Maguindanao, Suraina M. Kalid and Abdulrazid L. Kamag together with the newly proclaimed District Director of Bagumbayan and Senator Ninoy Aquino District, Dir. Ali Armie L. Mamalo took an oath of office during the SUKELCO Board of Directors regular session on June 4, 2024.

Said oath taking was administered by SUKELCO’s retainer lawyer, Atty. Cirilo Flores and witnessed by the Project Supervisor from National Electrification Administration, Leila B. Bonifacio, OIC-General Manager, Joemar G. Sevillano, P*E and officers and members of the SUKELCO Board of Directors.

The newly proclaimed District Directors who took oath of office will be serving as Board of Directors for three years pursuant to the Guidelines of Electric Cooperative District Election provided by RA 10531 as amended.

Orientation of the newly elected District Director from Bagumbayan and Senator Ninoy Aquino District, Dir. Ali Armie L. Mamalo, was conducted yesterday, June 3, 2024 at the SUKELCO Board Room, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.

Said orientation covered the presentations of Financial, Institutional and Technical operations including the services of the area offices and corporate planning. The legal bases on Electric Cooperative Operation and Good Cooperative governance as well as Compensation and his benefits as Board of Director of SUKELCO were also discussed.

OIC-General Manager, Engr. Joemar G. Sevillano, extended his congratulations and welcome Dir. Mamalo to SUKELCO family.

55 𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

A total of fifty-five employees from SUKELCO composed of communication specialists,
tellers, finance officers, billing and account analysts and customer welfare development officers attended a customer service seminar workshop on June 1, 2024 at MCO Center, Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.

The workshop is designed to provide employees with a well grounded knowledge on the value of excellent customer service, boost and enhance the skills and confidence when interacting and communicating, recommend a thorough understanding about customer relations and present a required competencies to increase work productivity.

Equipped with experience in the trainings and development of leaders and professionals, Mr. Gil T. Regondola, served as the resource speaker and presented an engaging activity which outlines three (3) modules namely: Embodying “SUKELCO” Brand of Customer Service, Communicating and Engaging with Colleagues and Customers and Delivering the “SUKELCO” Brand of Service Excellence.

The event was also attended by Finance Services Department Manager, Atty. Glenn P. Lamery, CPA, who also delivered an opening message and Institutional Services Department Manager, Mr. Francisco L. Torres, Jr. who gave a message of inspiration.

The participants shared their learning experience and it ended with a closing message from Human Resource and Admin Division Supervisor, Rosie B. Garfin.
