I just love writing and illustrating children’s books. It took COVID and being stuck in the house to finally get my book published. A Bedtime Cat Story has many layers of fun. To begin with, it is a fun story about sibling hijinks. I wanted a book that had beautiful, colorful illustrations with recognizable images from a child’s own room. Each page has an alphabet letter that is associated with a particular bedtime story item in the room. The story is written in rhyme to make reading fun, but the most important part of this book is the end pages. More than anything, I want to be apart of spreading the gospel. My book ends with a bedtime prayer, and bible verses than can relate to the story. I wanted a regular story with a way to connect it to the Bible. I would like to do this in all of my books that I create.
