I just got some very sad news from my friend Marty Campbell.
My long time Musical associate Clifford “Moondog” Garrow has passed away.
Clifford was from Flint, and one of the country’s greatest guitarists. We started together in the “Bits and Pieces” band following the Capri’s into the Beacon lounge in about 1976, went on to work together in the “Cosmic Cowboys” and then the Craig John Band. Clifford went on to play with “Nashville North” “Romeo Ridge” and in Nashville, Joe Stampley and the “Tennessee Fat Cats”. He was a incredible guitar player. Rest in peace my friend.
Lafayette Yarbrough should absolutely be in the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame

THE MARTY DAVIS SHOW 1979 Las Cruces New Mexico.
I want to thank especially the local people of this area, but also the people of Genesee, Saginaw, Oakland, Tuscola, and Lapeer county’s, for always supporting my band, and solo musical projects.
This year makes 50 YEARS of being blessed with the opportunities to do what I love, in Michigan, and 31 other states. Ya! a half a century!
There was no retirement in it, and I’m not rich and famous, but the experience, and memories are priceless.
THANK YOU EVERYONE! I am one blessed Musician.
MARTY DAVIS, the best showman I ever worked with, and I worked with a bunch of them.
