SHIRT UPDATE:
Fellas, the nightmare with the shirts has continued since my last update. Basically, the vendor continued to jerk me around on the reproduction of the shirts and when I tried to cut bait and get a refund they won't process a full refund because they say it's my problem that the original shirts were badly misprinted. I have a new vendor all ready to go, but at this point it's a matter of having the refund processed so that I can order new gear. I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience with this apparel order and I promise that everyone who contributed last fall will eventually get a shirt, I just don't have a good time frame to report at this time. My sincerest personal apology to all of you who have had to wait so long. I just ask you to continue to be patient and one day you'll get a surprise in the mail.

Hey guys, the team this past weekend won the GRLC Conference Championship and is headed out to Nationals in Orange County, CA. With the tournament being across the country, the club needs to raise some money to travel out there to compete.

UPDATE on the fall fundraiser shirts...
I'm sure you're all wondering, "where is the shirt I was supposed to get last fall for contributing to the PMLAA?" Well we finally have some good news on that front. The vendor misprinted the first batch of shirts back in February, and they put up a fight about reprinting them. Once that issue was settled, the base shirts were out of stock for like 6-8 weeks, but we finally got notice earlier this week that they are back in and our order is being reprocessed. Hoping for delivery by the end of April, but most likely everything will come in the first week of May and we will distribute after that. Side note: We did look for another vendor to take over the order, but nobody could match the price point and since the whole point was to preserve as much of your contributions for the team, we just stuck it out with the original vendor despite all of the issues.

As always thank you for you patience as well as your support of the PMLAA and Purdue Men's Lacrosse.

Alumni Weekend is here and that means the festivities and revelry are about to begin. The PMLAA is still fundraising with the goal of making a $2500 contribution to this year’s Purdue Men’s Lacrosse team. We have reached 70% of goal thus far, so hopefully a few more alums will step up and contribute pushing us over the top. Contributions of all sizes are welcome and for those able to donate $100 or more, we will reward you with a custom Nike long sleeve DriFit Purdue Lacrosse shirt. Apparel will be ordered next week so get your donations in today.

Kicking the party off at Brothers Bar & Grill on Chauncey Hill. Rumor has it we have some space reserved upstairs in the VIP area.

Saturday 11/8
Breakfast Club starts at 7AM
Tailgating with the Team at the Gold Intramural Fields
12 PM (EST) Purdue vs. Wisconsin football game

**4 PM - Post-game cook out with the current Purdue Lacrosse players. This is a great opportunity for the alumni to get to know the current team.**

Lastly, the PMLAA looked into hotel rooms, but we could not guarantee enough guests to get a hotel block, but last we checked rooms are still available at the Four Points Sheraton in West Lafayette. Double bed rooms are $179 + tax.

Dear Purdue Lacrosse Alumni, Family, and Friends,

The Purdue Men’s Lacrosse Alumni Association (PMLAA) is back with our 3rd Annual fundraising campaign to benefit the current Purdue Men’s Lacrosse team. We have been working with the current team all fall to plan this year’s Alumni Weekend including the annual Purdue Lacrosse Alumni Game and numerous social events including pre-game tailgating and a team BBQ after the football game. This year the festivities will be held the weekend of November 8th and 9th coinciding with the home football game versus Wisconsin.

Over the past two years the alumni have been able to provide significant financial support to the current team in order to help the team offset expenses and focus on playing lacrosse. We aim to increase our support again this year with a fundraising goal of $2500 to be donated to the team at this year’s Alumni Game. In order to accomplish this goal we need all of our alumni to step up and give back to the team that undoubtedly made your four (or more) years at Purdue unforgettable.

As in year’s past, the PMLAA will be accepting donations through PayPal. For those of you who prefer an alternative means of donating please e-mail us at [email protected] for our mailing address.

This year donations of $100 or more will be rewarded with a custom long-sleeve Nike DriFit Purdue Lacrosse shirt available only through the PMLAA.
