Musical & TXSW 1st Ministers' and Workers' Conference Date Change:

Hello Saints of the Texas Southwest 1st Jurisdiction,

I'm writing to inform you of a change in the dates of the Ministers' and Workers' Conference.

The dates will now be as follows:
Pre-Musical: (Sunday) April 14, 2024 🎶
Conference Dates: (Wednesday - Saturday) April 17 - April 20, 2024

On our former meeting date, there will be a total solar eclipse; an event that last happened in 1970 and won't happen again until 2078. The path of totality (the eclipse's darkest shadow upon the Earth) takes a relatively narrow path and part of that path is across Waco, Texas.

This phenomenon has increased hotel prices by quite a bit. The new April 17th-April 20th date will see the hotel prices back within normal ranges (more information to come on rates).
