I've been married to my best friend for over 16 years now and we have two beautiful daughters. We share our home with two dogs and two cats (more like they share THEIR home with us). On top of having a part time work at home job and homeschooling my girls, I am also an Independent Beachbody Coach. Here's why:
When you're a mom, you tend to put everyone else's needs above your own. This unfortunat
ely sometimes means that you put your own health and fitness needs on the back burner. This is not good for anyone, especially after doing this for 15 years! How can you expect to be there 100% for everyone else when you're running on 60% yourself, or even running on empty? After having gained over 50 pounds and being in the worst shape of my life, I decided to try Beachbody's 21 Day Fix program, along with Shakeology. I thought, OK I have 30 minutes a day to commit to my own health and fitness. I started the program, drank my shake daily, and became a member of an amazing online accountability fitness group- and the rest is history. This is the first time in my LIFE that I have stuck to a fitness program and not be bored out of my mind. To be honest, what keeps me going is our community of others inspiring me, pushing me to be the best version of myself, and reminding me why I started this journey. Since starting, I have been so much more energized and confident. I've had tremendous results and fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear in years! My daughters join in on my workouts several times a week and it makes me so dang proud to lead by example. It's important to me that they grow up knowing the importance of taking care of their health. A fantastic side effect is the confidence and feeling of empowerment that fills your soul knowing that you are creating the best version of yourself inside and out, and helping others to do the same.
