Yesterday I joined Senator Richard Blumenthal to announce a $3.24 million grant Meriden received from the federal government to fix a leak in Merimere Reservoir. This funding not only saves us from having to use local funds from our rate payers, but will also save us water...lots and lots of water!π°
We are one nation. Political violence in any form cannot be tolerated, regardless of personal beliefs and views. We must unite.
Praying those who were injured at yesterday's rally make a full recovery, including former President Donald Trump, and for the family of the innocent civilian that was killed.
I am pleased to report that Meriden's Stop & Shop location at 485 Broad Street is not impacted by the closing of 5 CT stores, announced today.

Yesterday I visited two of our newer local small businesses: Moose's Burgers and Ryder's Ice Cream. The burgers we had at Mooses's were great! Highly recommend. We also loved the new family-owned ice cream shop on the west side.
Congratulations to my younger brother, Sal, and my new sister-in-law, his high school sweetheart, Kati, on their wedding this week! So happy for you both!!

Special thanks to Friends President Frank Ridley for his dedication. Check out their bookstore or become a volunteer! π

Special thanks to our partnership with Office of Governor Ned Lamont, Office of Lt.
