I started inkle and tablet weaving just under a year ago. I decided I wanted wood tablets and today I made them.

A note, bumbles & threads will be the new business name, but all of my yarns dyed with modern acid dyes will remain “celestial strings yarn” branded. Yarns will only carry the name bumbles & threads when they’ve been dyed with historic dyes.
All garb and accessories will also carry bumbles & threads.

Currently using my registered SCA badge as my logo, but eventually that could change.

Whether you knit, crochet, or tablet weave I will have fibers and tools for that. If you're SCA or Ren Faire, or just like cool medieval clothing, I've got garb and accessories for you.

I will continue to dye yarn using modern acid dyes, but will also be adding in the near future more historic dyes for those of you that prefer them.

I will soon be making some changes to my business name and design. I will continue to dye yarn/fiber and offer project bags but will be adding/removing/changing other things.

A long trip to the ER has thrown off my schedule. Please be patient. I’ll post when I’m able. I am ok, will require some follow up testing. I just need to take it easy until we get the testing done.

Felt like crafting today so I decided to work on cutting some yarn bags that I hope to dye some yarn to match. The dinosaurs will be outside and the yarn will match that.

My father passed away this morning. I’ll be taking some time for myself, working when it brings me joy or distraction.

The cutest s’mores hat and infinity scarf set with hidden pocket. It’s a good sized pocket, I can fit my hand to my wrist in it.
