We are on baby watch over here! Taylor’s sister (we suspect) is due anytime. We are still trying to get mommy to pick a name for her (she’s so indecisive). We have suggested Alison, Abigail, Juliet…What do you guys think? Also, how many babies do you think she will have? We are praying for another healthy liter.
EDITED TO ADD: We are keeping with the Taylor Swift theme since they are sisters. Alison is her Taylor’s middle name, Abigail is her best friend, Juliet is from her Love Story song.🐷💜

The boys did great! They are home recovering from their surgeries. They got lots of love from everyone at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. ThOINKs Dr. Herb for taking such good care of them. We appreciate your prayers and donations.🐷💙

⭐️PIGGY PRAYERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED⭐️! We have four pigs at the vet this morning for their neuter surgeries. The three little pigs who were dumped near our property are there. Things haven’t slowed down enough for us to formally name them, but they have loved their time spent at Hoggywood and Mama Cali has been so good with them, so they probably think they are Stars, too. We saw someone comment Ross, Josey and Chandler. Let us know your thoughts on that or make your Hoggywood name choices in the comments. Clint, Clark and Marilyn live their now.

The fourth piggy at the vet is PJ. He is a farm pig who we have no doubt Periwinkle sent us. He is named after him. PJ stands for Periwinkle, Jr. He will be a big boy, too. So many new friends…We have decided to name one of our pregnant mamas Taylor. It seems fitting since they were all rescued in Taylor, Florida in connection with the “Taylor Case.”🐷🎵

This is one of the babies we rescued from the Taylor, FL case (along with his mama and brother). We are still trying to get the third brother. Our friend ’s mom has offered to help mommy. They plan to set up a pen like the one pictured, so mommy can start feeding him in there. He is starting to trust her more and more every day, so hooves crossed he will be home by the end of the week. If you would like to donate this pen or donate towards it, we would appreciate it. Before we got started on this rescue mission, we slipped away camping for a few days with mom Halloween weekend. While we were gone, Ruby Rose, Hope and Maggie got a little vacation of their own to . They LOVE it there…Just look at their faces. The staff there is so good to them. They play with them, give them lots of snuggles and attention and sent us these adorable photos of them throughout their stay. They even have cameras throughout the play areas, so we can watch them having a ball whenever we want. It’s great to have a place that takes such great care of them while we are away! ThOINKs Pet Paradise. The girls can’t wait to go back!🐷💗🐶

One of the sweet pregnant mamas we just rescued…Sorry, we haven’t posted an update until now. Mommy has been busy with school, our new friends, the rescue still underway and was sick on top of it all. We haven’t named any of our new friends yet. We are getting to know them and thinking of the perfect names for each of them. Our other pregnant mama looks very similar to this pretty girl. We suspect they are probably sisters.

We have managed to get all of the pigs from the Taylor, FL rescue mission except for two. Mommy has spent every afternoon after school and has had helpers from as far as three hours away come and help catch and load a total of 9 pigs (4 of whom are pregnant), so the count is actually a lot higher. ThOINKs Alisha, Donna, Don, Marc and Chris for your help. We will get the last two. If only they knew, we were trying to help them.

In the meantime, they are getting food and water daily and are sticking together which is great. One is a large male and the other one is a small piglet who we already have his mama and siblings.
We probably need either a hog trap (the traps we have have not been successful) or someone that can build a small pen with a gate that we can lure them in with food in order to catch them. The new owners of the property have given us some time, and we are keeping them happy and fed and away from the neighbors for now.

Aside from donations what we need most is someone to build the pen (hog panels, posts and a gate). If anyone is available this weekend to build a small temporary pen, please reach out to [email protected]. We can purchase the supplies. We just need someone to pick them up and build it. If you have a hog trap, please reach out as well. Taylor FL is close to Macclenny, FL between Jacksonville and Lake City in northeast Florida.

In the midst of everything today is the day Dorothy’s spay was scheduled. We were waiting for it to cool off some so we wasn’t recovery from surgery in the summer heat. Please keep this sweet girl in your thoughts and prayers today. For anyone new here, Dorothy’s family lived down the street from us and moved out and left her behind. She followed mommy (and an animal cracker trail) all the way home. We want to give a huge thOINKs to our grandparents for dropping her off at the vet this morning, so mommy can get to school. She will be meeting them to pick her up this afternoon and then heading back to try and help get the baby piglet and remaining boar. We appreciate you guys! I’m exhausted, but I wanted to update everyone. Today was overall a good day. We got three more pigs out of there. We don’t really have the room, but we brought another pregnant girl home😱. We couldn’t leave her there. She looks just like the one we rescued on Sunday, so we are guessing they are sisters. Aren’t they adorable? I’m sure they are happy to be back together.

Sadly despite trying until dark, we did not get the remaining baby. He was there but would not come close to the pen. We are not giving up! There is another male pig there as well. The are the last two pigs to save. We are working on getting a better trap for the baby and will be going back tomorrow.
