Registration is now open for the SAF / High School Championship. Go to highschoolfishing.org and look up tournaments scroll to Colorado and register on line with your partner and boat captain. We will have a meeting next Tuesday at Bass Pro Shops in Colorado Springs at 6pm to discuss the TBF Junior Team Championship and go over getting you guys registered and paired up for these events . The CMHS Bass Anglers held the last club recruiting event of the year during lunch at Cheyenne Mountain High School. The event was successful, as eight potential new members signed up. Keep up the good work CMHS Bass Anglers.
This weekend, the Cheyenne Mountain Bass Anglers competed in the Southern Colorado Junior Bass Club’s Valco Ponds tournament. With the 4
Anglers that competed, Kevin Hooks took third, Bailey Mabis took second, and Robbie Gonzales finished first. With a podium sweep to start off this fishing season, the Bass Anglers are prepared for their upcoming tournament in May, the Spring Fling. To add to this victory, the Bass Anglers also participated in an Earth Day project and picked up trash around the ponds. The Southern Colorado Junior Bass Club, Cheyenne Mountain High School Bass Anglers, and Cyclone Anglers-Pueblo West High School would like to thank Robert Patton and Sheath Underwear for supporting high school bass fishing at yesterday's 2018 Colorado TBF High School State Bass Fishing Championship.
Robert / SHEATH Underwear thanked all volunteer boaters by giving all of them a free pair of premium underwear. The giving didn't stop there... Robert Patton then announced that the two teams going to nationals would receive a $100 each to help them with expenses.

Last year was the inaugural year for the CMHS Bass Anglers. The club started with 12 initial members. This year the club has grown to 17 members making it the largest high school bass club in the state Colorado.
Nine teams of CMHS Bass Anglers competed in this year's 2018 Student Angler Federation CO High School State Bass Fishing Championship. When it was all said and done, 3 teams from CMHS took the top five spots, including first place. Congratulations to Justin Nicks, Miles Harris, and their boater Derrick Phillips for winning the state championship. We look forward to rooting for you at nationals.
Congratulations to Atticus Cook, Austin Carpenter, and boater David Wilkins on their 4th place finish; and Colby Erdossy, Andrew Moore, and boater Dale Gravelle on their 5th place finish.
