Our Story

Homeschool Adventures is an all-volunteer inclusive secular homeschool communication network for homeschool families in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.

Homeschool Adventures consists of local homeschooling families volunteering their time to build and sustain a community-created resource for their fellow local homeschoolers in order to assist all of us in creating and finding local inclusive secular homeschool opportunities. Homeschool Adventures is YOU. There is no “they” here.

Volunteer Organizer Support

The HSAdventures Yahoo Group and Facebook Group are great places for individual homeschoolers who set up homeschool field trips, custom classes and other homeschool events to announce their plans. Whether for a small intimate class or a large group excursion, HSAdventures groups provide a large member base from which volunteer organizers can find others who share their interests.

Any local homeschooler may volunteer to organize a homeschool event. There are no prerequisites, requirements, or permissions needed to get started, but there is plenty of support! The HSAdventures website provides many resources for helping individual homeschoolers select and organize successful events, helping them to avoid the most common problems encountered by volunteer organizers of group events.
