๐ธ Happy International Women's Day! ๐ธ Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women around the world, including those right here in Bangladesh. In our country, women have played pivotal roles in shaping our society, culture, and economy. From leading movements for independence to excelling in various fields, Bangladeshi women have shown resilience, strength, and determination.
International Women's Day has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century when women began demanding better working conditions, voting rights, and gender equality. The day serves as a reminder of the progress made towards women's rights and the work that still needs to be done to achieve true gender equality.
Let's continue to support and empower each other as we strive for a more inclusive and equal society. Together, we can break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive. ๐

๐ People all around the world depend on nature for lots of things like food, medicine, homes, and clothes. We work together to make sure plants and animals can live for the future, so we can enjoy the beauty of nature and take advantage of its gifts. Let's cheer for wildlife and support the efforts to protect them! ๐ฆ๐ฟ World Wildlife Day is a special time to celebrate the amazing variety of plants and animals in the wild. It's a chance to appreciate how much we gain from protecting them. But, it's also a reminder that we need to fight against crimes that harm wildlife and the human actions that lead to the loss of species. This is a big deal because it affects our economy, environment, and society. CWU ENGLISH CLUB stands in solidarity with this important event! ๐ฟ๐ Let's join hands for wildlife and conservation efforts! ๐ค๐พ

The 21st of February holds a special place in the hearts of all Bengalees as it commemorates International Mother Language Day. This significant day traces back to 1952 when brave souls stood up for the recognition of Bangla as the official language of East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. The sacrifices made during the language movement echo through time, emphasizing the universal importance of language in shaping cultures. Beyond the struggles specific to Bangla, the day serves as a sharp reminder of the broader role that language plays in our global interconnectedness. Let's mark this day by embracing the idea that regardless of the foreign language we study, we should promote our cultures, values, and heritages. The CWU English Club honors the martyrs and courageous individuals of our language movement.
