Hey you, I hope all is well.
Thought I’d share my new beautiful walker hound ❤️.
She was given to me from my friend I got my previous hounds from, even though my dad stole my boy & we lost his sister a year ago.
She seriously came to me at the right time a perfect fit & has filled my heart with joy.
Never had a dog at a year old bond to me so fast like I’ve had her since she was born.
Pretty neat, she is definitely my dog.
I’ve been working with her.
He started hunting her so she has been on 2 lion, 4 bear, multiple fox & c**n hunts.
So I’m excited to see what she turns out like.
Finally, I have a big hound again to go places with me & my little hounds 😁❤️

2024 Trials season has wrapped up for the girls & I ! 🤍

As always I couldn’t be more proud of these hounds! Watching them do what they love is the why behind it all!

Shoutout to EKTHA for putting on an awesome trials and everyone who helped out with our ATHA trial! I’m so thankful for the friends and family who come help me out and support us and the clubs!

Alright y’all, it has been awhile since I’ve put out a new design. Between working with Animal Services and spending time with family, time just flies by so I definitely thinks it’s way past due! Thank you to the creativity of Outer Agenda Design Co. for bringing this idea to life!

We ventured down to the 2024 SC State Championship and we didn’t leave empty handed!

Today was bittersweet as my sweet Miles picked up his last and final bmos which makes him (pending ukc approval) show champion!! Thank you to judge David McKee for the honors! Miss Mia picked up her second bfos as well! We have some things to work on but I’m so so proud of her! Congratulations to all the winners!!

2024 EKTHA spring classic field trial, another one for the books!

My trigger pup absolutely blew me away, advancing to finals in bear & puppy race, placing 3rd line, 2nd tree in the puppy final as well as advancing to c**n semi-final. Bringing home a plaque & buckle for 1st overall puppy, he is following in his dads foot steps already at 10 months old🩵

My kouper dog never ceases to amaze me. He advanced to bear finals, & won the cougar blowout for the 3rd year in a row (for line) as well as getting first tree in the blowout for the second time in 3 years. At almost 9 years old he absolutely blew me away, gapping all the other dogs by atleast 15 seconds is just crazy❤️

My Dillon dog advanced to bear semi-finals, & made it to c**n final placing 3rd line to bring home his first ever plaque🧡

June & hannah both brought home some ribbons & ran their little hearts out this weekend🩷💜

Was a bittersweet weekend not only getting to see my own dogs do so well but Tays Livy dog bringing home 2nd overall hound & some more hardware was pretty dang cool, along with her pup birdie bringing home 3rd overall pup of the weekend. It was very cool to see 3 puppy’s out of June & koupers litter take home all 3 overall puppy places for the weekend!

I’ve always been asked why we run spike collars on our hounds, as much as they do look cool they have a bigger purpose. Lions typically go for the throat on their prey, we take the extra precaution of running these collars to save our hounds lives if a lion decided to do just that to one of our hounds! We love these dogs like they’re our family❤️

If a hound dog could speak
Imagine the stories they'd tell
The things their eyes have seen
The scents their noses have smelled
If a hound dog could speak
They'd tell you of their travels
All of the hunts they have ran
All of the dirt roads and even gravel
If a hound dog could speak
I believe they would be humble
They would talk about successes
And also the times they've stumbled
They may not can speak with words
But if you look into their eyes
You can feel the many adventures
And that's a feeling money can't buy
If my hound dogs could speak
I would tell them they make me proud
And that even on their worst days
The heart within them rings loud
Even though they can't use words
We can pet them up after a hunt
They can feel the love toward them
And I believe it fuels their next run♡

These dogs are not just here to run game and be pushed aside when they can no longer run. They are family and friends. They understand our heart and know our next move. Please treasure your hounds and make sure they know what a good job they do. Dont ever take them for granted.

Bonnie Lou treed again after trailing for a while but it was a sow with her kittens so treed and freed. Just a reminder that it’s not all about the kill. It’s about the chase🦝🦝
