It’s been a few weeks, but we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who participated in Empty Bowls this year. We were able to raise around $3200 for the Meals for Kids program in our community. This event couldn’t happen without the help of SO MANY people. We want to thank for hosting AND cooking the soup! Thanks to our food and paper goods sponsors: Target, Walmart, and Harps. Thanks to all of our artists: VBHS Art students and teachers as well as guest artists Last but not least, thank you to everyone who came to buy a bowl and have dinner with us! We want to acknowledge some of our guests artists for Empty Bowls this year! Come to THIS Thursday to pick out a beautiful bowl or bid on a silent auction bowl from local artists like and !! You can purchase tickets at the door! 5-7:30pm…see you there!

We are looking for donations for our soup ingredients! We would like to thank our two sponsors so far: Harps Food Stores - Van Buren, AR #511 and Walmart Van Buren! If you know of any local businesses who would like to help us out, then we’ll be able to donate all the ticket sales to the Meals for Kids program with no overhead. Let us know.
