Just a reminder that our regular Wednesday morning service starts at 11am and is held at The Old School House, 22 The Green, Swanwick. All are welcome.
There will be no service in St. Andrew's Church on Sunday 21st January. Instead there will be a combined service starting at 10.45 am in Swanwick Methodist Church, as we join with our friends from the Baptist and Methodist churches to celebrate the Week of Christian Unity.
Christmas Services in St. Andrew's Swanwick and St. Matthew's Pentrich. A couple more services to mention. On Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December in Swanwick St. Andrew’s there will also be a said communion at 10.30 am – that’s in addition to Family Carols at 4.30 and starting at 11 pm, “Midnight” Communion
On New Year’s Eve, Sunday 31st December, we will join together in All Saints Ripley at 10am to welcome in the New Year together. There will be NO services on that day in St. Andrew’s or St. Matthew’s churches . PLEASE NOTE THE TIME ! 10 am in ALL SAINTS CHURCH, RIPLEY.
A reminder of our service times - Sunday services are held at 10.30 am, every Sunday in St. Andrew's Church Swanwick, and on the first and second Sundays of the month in St. Matthew's Church Pentrich. PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE OF TIME FOR OUR WEDNESDAY SERVICE: every Wednesday there is a service at the Old School House, 22, The Green, Swanwick DE55 1BL - from 9th August until further notice this service will start at 11.00 am.
A reminder that there will be a coffee morning on Saturday 8th July, 10.30 to 12 o’clock in St. Andrew’s Church.
On Sunday 9th July at 10am there will be a service at All Saints Church Ripley to welcome our new curate, John Ferguson, The churches of St. Andrew Swanwick and St. Matthew Pentrich will share in this service, therefore there will be NO SERVICE IN ST. ANDREW’S OR ST. MATTHEW’S ON SUNDAY 9th JULY.
Alternatively, our Baptist and Methodist friends in Swanwick meet at 10.45am. All are welcome.
St. Andrew's church hosted Swanwick's team of incredibly talented well-dressers for this year's beautiful dressing.
On Sunday 11th June there is no service at St. Andrew's church: at 10.30am in St. Matthews's Pentrich there is a service of Morning Prayer - all will be welcome in this beautiful ancient church.
Services this Sunday at St Matthew's, St Andrew's and All Saints Ripley will focus on the Coronation. All are welcome to any service. We have a communion service in Pentrich and a service for all ages in Swanwick at which children are particularly welcome. Do join us
