I just wanted to hop on and introduce myself to all of my new followers and share my story with you guys!

Long story shortish…. I started out taking photos of friends, family, and butterflies in high school. Fell in love in college after a not so wild twister game, at Abilene Christian University, with my now husband Matt who graciously took this photo! Graduated, Got married, and then jumped into a teaching career. I taught elementary school for 6 years. Then I had my two beautiful daughters, and realized that I needed to show them what following your dreams really looked like.

As much as I have a heart for teaching, I found myself being pulled in so many directions. As a new mom I felt it was incredibly important for me to take a risk to follow my passion of photography. I have always been a photographer at heart since I can remember having my first polaroid camera in 2nd grade. Throughout my school years and beyond photography was always a side hobby or gig. Taking photos for loved ones and friends filled my portfolio, and now I am beyond thrilled to turn this joy of mine into my full time dream job.

I LOVE telling stories, heck I use to teach kiddos how to write them. How cool is it that I get to continue helping others tell their stories through photos? During a typical session with me you might find us dancing to your favorite playlist, playing games with the kids, talking about your favorite pokemon, or having a tickle war. All the while I will be capturing your story for you to never forget these moments in time.

Honestly, I just feel so lucky to be doing what I love, and showing my girls how to chase their dreams. Thank you for reading, and I hope one day I get a chance to tell your story.
