Please see below for August appointments. Once they're gone, they're gone. Especially evenings, I can't work any more hours mid week I'm afraid.

In September I'm taking leave from 31st August until 10th September and having a refurb from 29th September until 9th October. So if you haven't already, please start booking your September appointments! You can now book until mid October on the booking app.

I'm so pleased to say finally Facials are back on the menu again & with a revamp! Facials are definitely my favourite treatment to do & I knew I'd miss doing them but I didn't realise just how much.
I've decided to do seasonal facials Spring/Summer & Autumn/Winter so that the treatment is tailored to the weather & likely skincare needs☀️
I've also partnered with the incredible local business Bourn Beautiful who will be supplying the highest quality, handmade skincare products for your luxury facial.

To reintroduce them back to them menu, there is a special offer on selected dates/times running until 1st September (see comments for dates). Some of the dates will not be available on the booking system so please drop me a message if you're interested.

UPDATE!

For clients who need infills/removal & Reapplication (usually Builder Gel clients), I only have Saturday 29th June & Saturday 13th July available until AUGUST 😬

Evening appointments always get fully booked 3 weeks in advance but we're in a very busy summer season with a alot of clients wanting more than one treatment so appointments are limited🙈

Saturdays seem to be alot quieter & should the above dates become full, I may be able to add additional weekend availability. However, I'm unable to add additional weekday evenings due to my FT job & most weeks I've already put on extra dates which have now been taken.

Please ensure that you have your July appointments in the diary & if possible, look to book August ASAP.

May is almost full! Lots of weddings & celebrations have meant a lot of you want fresh brows & nails for the big day🥂 At the moment I can't add extra availability due to working a lot of evenings but keep checking my FB & IG stories for cancellations or last min appointments.

June as more availability but limited on a weekend due to it being my birthday month💃

Hi everyone,

As some of you may have seen on the news that at the start of April, a significant number of nail technicians & beauty therapists raised their prices at the same time. This movement was generated by the fact that the majority of nail technicians & beauty therapists are not receiving minimum wage and/or not even paying into a pension.

I held off the price rise initially but after much consideration (and a fair bit of maths), I have no option but increase my prices. Unfortunately, some treatments have risen alot more than others. There will also be a change in how my treatments are set out.

The price increase will take effect from 1st JULY 2024 to allow all clients chance to review prices & become familiar with the new treatment structure. This will also be emailed out to current clients.

A quick introduction 👋

It's very rare I show my face on here so I thought I would do a quick introduction 🙈
My name is Jodie & I'm the owner of Jodie's Beauty Spot, a home salon based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.

I've been in the Beauty industry for 5 years now - initially doing mobile Nouveau LVL lashes & brow waxes but later, setting up my home studio & completing training in Gel nails (Builder & standard), Manicure, Pedicures & Facials. I only do Beauty part time as I work Full Time for a large Fashion & Home Ecommerce business so I only work evenings & weekends.

The main brands I use are & I believe these are great quality brands within the Beauty industry & my clients love them too❤️

When visiting my home, you'll also be in the company of my 3 year old Miniature Dachshund Max! (2nd pic). He sits with us in the room, usually expecting belly tickles & patiently waits for treats before curling up at your feet for a nap 🐾
