for navigating life’s challenges. A positive mindset, when practiced & applied regularly,
can be the foundation for a happier and healthier mind, body, and soul.
RAFFLE RESULTS! It's October 30th, that means it's Yay!DAY!!! Today we drew winners in our raffle - The Yay!Day raffle started in March and we sold all 1,000 tickets thanks to your generous support! The funds raised will go directly to scholarships for youth in the Lake Norman area that are using the power of positivity to make a difference in our community. Thank you to everyone that purchased a raffle ticket and to Polaris Inc. and Interstate Cycle for donating the Polaris RZR XP 1000. Positivity has lifelong benefits and your support will make a difference to many people for years to come!

Chef Steve's wine dinners at On The Nines are always a special event, but we're especially excited about our Say YAY! wine dinner to kick off Yay DAY's community activities and fundraising efforts for 2023. Adopting a positive mindset doesn't mean that we ignore negativity or sweep our problems under the rug. We all face real difficulties in life. Serious illness, loss of loved ones, and daily struggles that don't simply go away by telling ourselves to be positive. Yay!DAY believes that positivity can be a helpful tool in developing strategies to face these struggles in a healthy way. We know that negativity and hardship is faced by people of all ages. Our mission to teach and promote the power of positivity truly has lifelong benefits!

When faced with life’s challenges, Yay!DAY believes that choosing to adopt a positive mindset is the first step forward. We know that thinking doesn’t instantly fix what is broken and it won’t make our problems disappear. However, a positive mindset can be an important and powerful tool to face your struggles head-on. Negativity doesn’t solve problems and can often prevent us from doing what is necessary to reach a favorable outcome. If you’ve done nothing else but chosen a positive approach to all that you do, we believe you’re already headed in the right direction. Positivity is Progress!

Living life with a positive mindset is something that takes practice. It’s not simply about telling yourself to “be positive”. It requires being intentional in applying the power of positivity each day. From using affirmations and documenting gratitude, to focusing on being present in each moment, positivity is often something that must be sought out. Negativity is always present – but positivity can shine through, too. Seek it out!
