This Mama- To-Be is in the In Between Space. The space where everyone tells you that you are going to go into labor any day, the space where touching your toes is an event, the space where anticipation, exhilaration, and weariness reside, that uncertain space knowing everything is about to change and having no control over the when, the space where you are anxious to know your baby. And in that space, she breathes. Takes a rest on the shoulder of her love and laughs at the In Between Space.

I'm frantically working on this session before this delightful magic makes her earth-side appearance.

I recently finished editing this family's backyard session. I love being around for these moments. I may not be the cheapest nor most expensive, I know I'm not the most talented photographer, and I don't engage on FB much. And I only do about a couple dozen sessions a year, but I have been truly blessed by the people that have chosen me. Each of them has left a mark on my heart. The Lord has richly guided this area of my life in a lovely way. Allowing me in to your sacred spaces and rhythms, thank you!

We lost electricity for a couple of hours during the snow storm. That didn't stop the girl from enjoying the snow fall.

She had to take her gloves off to throw the snow. After a bit, she looked at her sweet frozen finger tips then at me then at her finger tips then at me...You get the picture. We had a hand warming mission set before us. Snow bunny baby.

I've been super busy and haven't posted many sneak peeks. {shame, shame} This little peek is special to me from a mama's perspective. I can't post any others from the session because they are surprises for Christmas for their family, but this one is sort of incognito. Anyway, as mamas, don't you just love to breathe your babies in? {deeeeep sigh} People, this is love, contentment, goodness, and peace.

Finally! We've enjoyed a green summer that has pushed back our autumn leaves turning. The golden hue of the leaves changing was noticeable this week. Yay! We are holding mini-sessions next weekend which should be at the peak of our areas natural beauty and display of color. I have a location that has fantastic light and forest beauty! I've been privileged to capture images of this lady before. She was my neighbor in our dorm. She made sure my roommate and I made it to class on time, as well as eat and clean our room. Yes, she is good like that. She is also stunningly beautiful and I love her!
