Q-Vo Chicano Soul Oldies
Q-Vo is an oldiie band that loves to play lowrider oldies and Chicano music. Chicano artists include Santana, El Chicano and Malo.
Band leader Angel Garcia founded the band to bring back the love songs of the 60's and 70's and feature Chicano music. Our repertoire includes songs by Brenton Wood, Billy Stewart, Sly, Slick and the Wicked, Mary Wells, Patty Drew and Redbone.

Cinco de Mayo Gig: Q-Vo is excited to perform this Saturday, May 6th at Southside Park starting at 4:30 pm.  Please join us to hear your favorite oldies, old school, and Latin beats. Q-Vo recently added three new musicians: Hector Luna on timbales, Lennie Capello on lead guitar and Eduardo Juarez on bass. Come check us out as Qvo is changing it up and adding classic rock to our repertoire. We have something for everyone! 
Q-Vo kind of vibe - Memory of a Cinco de Mayo performance at Vallejo’s across from the Capitol in Sacramento. Proprietor Art Vallejo recently closed the restaurant. We will miss the great Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Great memories. Thank you Art. We appreciate you.
We are sorry to inform you that our March 18th gig at Cal Expo has been postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions in Sacramento. The event will now take place on June 17.
Q-Vo is coming to Cal Expo! Our next gig has something for everybody with Lowrider cars, boxing, and a music concert. Q-Vo performed recently at the Festival de Bombas in Old Town Sacramento. It was great to see the lowrider community out in force along with the general public in Old Town. Everyone loves beautiful cars, good music and great people! Thank you to Brown Issues and Xavier Huerta for having us.

Q-Vo Chicano Soul Oldies band members were saddened to hear of the passing of Steve Salas of Tierra. Sharing a memory below of time we played back up to Steve as he sang ”Together” at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose. We will always treasure this special memory and we are thankful we got to experience this unique moment with him. May he Rest In Peace. Steve Salas
