For 2022 I've decided to challenge myself to read a new book every month and have decided to keep it non league/north east relevant. If anyone can send some suggestions they'd like me to read and review please comment below.
For January, I have started with the The Farther Corner written by Harry Person. Following from the success of his first book 'The Far Corner' Pearson returns to the grassroots football of the north east to recapture his love of the game. Very much written in the same style of Nick Hornby's famous 'Fever Pitch' Pearson follows Dunston UTS to their league vicotry and Cup success of 2018/19 season while also visiting other clubs from the league and giving his thoughts on the modern game.
A must read for any non league and Northern League Fan. 4/5.
It was another exciting weekend in the Northern League!

Consett Afc and North Shields FC are the only teams left to represent the North East in the last 32 of the FA Vase. Can either side make it to the this years final at Wembley?
