It baffles the mind why these cuties have not found homes yet. They have been at our adoptions days for the past few weeks without any real interest. Murphy and Morris are the two boys and Theodora is the only girl in this litter. We expect that they will grow to be large mixed breed with quite a bit of German Shepherd and Ridgeback in that mix. MARTIN & DAISY Martin is the lovely +-2 year old Ridgeback x and Daisy is the small/medium black x, around 4 years old. They love playing together! Both of them would love to find their forever homes! DM us if you would like to meet them!

Jodie- Lynn found this dog, collapsed in her yard ( we now know from thirst and hunger), called us to assist and we did. She decided he needed to join her brood and decided to keep him. He's perked up and happy and booked for a steri at our next steri day❤️🐶🐾 Video is a real tearjerker if you know the fabulous outcome 🤩

Remember the kitty that was kept in a bird cage for a year and a half? Well .... he went off to his foster home yesterday! They named him GIUSEPPE. He relaxed in the car like he was meant to travel. He laid on our laps, staring lovingly at us while he got some belly scratches, purring loudly. We met his foster dad halfway, as his foster home is all the way on the other side of Cape Town CBD. For the first time in his life he gets to experience what it's like to play, to sleep in a bed and have bedtime and early morning cuddles. Mark, his foster dad, described their first day together as "magical"! We will keep you updated on his progress. He is still on the mend from the tick bite fever. But he is doing so much better. Please share to help find him his forever home!

These cuties will be up for adoption in a weeks time! They were removed during our Knofloks survey for the planned sterilization day this week. They have been vaccinated and dewormed. They have a nice comfy bed and full tummies!

Our deepest condolences to the Havenga family on the passing of Carin. She was a staunch supporter and very dedicated to the Grabouw community at large. Fly with the angels ❤️

TATIANA She just loves water! Such a fun playful and easy-going girl. She leash traing quickly, she settled in easily and she's just a joy to be around. She's around 2/3 years old, German Shepherd x that was surrendered. If you'd like to meet Tatiana, please DM us.

Another beautiful video from a Tyson's family, whom we assisted when he contracted biliary ❤️ Good evening aunty Shirley I just want to let you know that our boy is doing amazing his eating and drinking so we know his doing good I made him a proper kings meal and pancake for dessert 😅

HANNA & COOPER These two have the most special bond! Hanna is newby and has been with us for about 4 months. Sadly she was surrendered but she was in good health when she arrived at the kennels. Hanna is around 3 years old. She is still very playful and full of beans. She does not require a lot of attention but she does enjoy having a friend. Cooper has been a resident for much longer. Cooper arrived with his mom and his 10 siblings. He found a home as did the rest of his family. When he was 6 months old he came through for his sterilization. He almost did not make it that day. As he started to fall asleep after he received his sedative, he stopped breathing. Luckily the vet could reverse it and wake him up again. He was diagnosed with pneumonia. He went home with meds and instructions to keep a close eye on him. He recovered. His then family reported that he had behavioural issues and that they need to return him. We have not seen any of these behavioural issues for ourselves in the 18 months he has been with us. He is a fun, active and well behaved 2 year old. They are both up for adoption.
