Hello! And thank you for dropping by and supporting my journey! I've struggled with my weight and self esteem my entire life. And then I would eat.

I've made some big changes since 2015 and I am very passionate about helping others make positive changes in their lives as well. I was constantly on the diet rollercoaster. I'd lose some weight, get complacent and then immediately gain it back, and probably a few extra for good measure. I continued this through my adulthood but it wasn't until I had children that I had to evaluate what I was doin

Ok FB...I've been hanging onto this pic for 2 days now wondering if I should share it.

You see...I had let myself slip. I was not keeping my nutrition in line. I was losing focus on my life and what I really wanted. I resorted to emotional eating again. 😳😬🐷

I felt embarrassed. I felt uncomfortable. I was sick. I got bloated af. I was tired. I lost my motivation to push myself.

Here's the thing-I was still working out. That's the easy part, for me. I was still exercising and getting awful results. Why?

Nutrition is 80% of the game!

I had to take an honest evaluation of what I wanted and what I was willing to do and reconcile them both. I don't want to feel uncomfortable, sick and bloated. I want to feel healthy and confident. So I made a plan. A meal plan.

I made my menu for the week and stuck with it. I wasn't hungry. I stopped the sugar cravings again. And I still worked my full time job and took care of my family. There's no way I'm spending all my time in the kitchen. Who wants to do that?

Look what I accomplished in just 1 week! I lost 5.5 pounds in 7 days, my friends! If you aren't getting results, what are you doing wrong? The answer is probably in your food.

I used to think I was going to get crazy bulky by lifting weights. Um...duh. I'm not. You know what I am doing? Burning more calories at rest and creating some pretty sweet curves. Oh and for some reason, lifting weights boosts my confidence. β­οΈπŸ˜πŸ’ƒπŸ½

Lunch time! What's on your plate?

Remember that grilled chicken I made the other day? Bam!πŸ’₯ I made 2 Greek salads for my lunches after dinner and haven't had to worry about what I'm having for lunch. Meals prepped, packed and perfectly portioned for my weight loss goals.

Even Gracie was impressed with me!

Have you missed my sunshiny face?! Well...I got a little distracted from my goals and although it sucks, it happens to us all, right?

I lost sight of why I started to lose weight and get healthy. I got distracted by other things that don't affect my life at all, blah, blah, blah. I started accepting some of my own excuses about food. I kept up with my workouts but I couldn't push as hard since I wasn't fueling my body properly.

And guess what happened? The self doubt started to creep in. I lost some of my confidence. I started to feel uncomfortable in my skin again. ***gasp!*** I gained some of my weight back. It's only a couple pounds but it makes a huge difference in how I feel physically AND mentally.

My breaking point happened last week. I was even feeling sick and I knew I HAD to get my s**t together. What was I doing?! This isn't the life I had worked so hard to create...this was life I had worked hard to escape from.

I talked to a friend that's in my accountability group and it has helped so much. She inspires me to take action and put my goals in front of my crappy choices. And THAT'S exactly why I love these groups. I surround myself with people that lift me up and expect me to level up. I need that in my life.

I've prioritized my health again and I'm back in action. I'm refocused and ready to start blowing up your news feeds with my life. Watch out...you've been warned.πŸ™‚

And guess what?! It wasn't even that bad! Even if it was bad, early detection is key. Don't mess with science and facts, friends! Take care of yourselves!

I decided to take it back to my original program today for some work with weights. This was my favorite and I guess I was feeling a little nostalgic. ✨

Kids are nuts and there's never a perfect time to start getting healthy. Just do it anyway and roll with the punches (sometimes literally πŸ˜‚).

Does anyone else have a monkey posing as a child? I swear this kid climbs up on anything. We actually have a child lock on these cabinets so he doesn't do this! Peanut butter is life for this kid.

I used to eat fast food ALL.THE.TIME. It was quick and easy. I would overeat and then feel hungry again in about 2-3 hours. I was hungry because I wasn't giving my body any nutrition. But I was also obese so I was embarrassed to eat again or say I was hungry.

So I'd wait. I'd wait what seemed like an acceptable amount of time to eat again. And by then, I'd be starving so I'd overeat again. So the trend here? It was awful.

Now I make my food way more often and eat at home. This is also "fast food" but it's much healthier and portioned better. It took about 20 minutes, the same as if I drove to a drive thru and came back home. I'm not in a food coma though and can continue my day with focus and energy.

I struggled for way too long to find a solution that was right for me. And now that I have, I'm on a mission to share it. Can I help you?

Can I just tell you one of the many reasons that I love coaching? I love being able to support and cheer these ladies on in their health.

Once a month I host a group workout at my house and today we also talked about our meal plans. There are a few really important pieces to being healthy and one that is usually overlooked is the support. These ladies have been in the online groups together for a couple months but haven't actually met until today. You'd never know it by all the laughs we shared though. Bringing them together makes my heart so happy. Their support system is bigger and they are getting to know each other which will only benefit us all.

Oh my gosh! Homemade avocado dressing is where it's at! You know how much I love avocado. I got the recipe from the Team Beachbody website, complete with how to count those containers. That means no guesswork to my weight loss game. πŸŽ‰

When I first became a mom my life was 100% about my kids. As it should be, right?

Well...not exactly. In the meantime I was not taking care of myself AT ALL. I mean, at all. I wasn't eating right, exercising and the negative self talk was unreal. I could make myself feel like s**t in a matter of seconds just by looking in the mirror.

It took me 13 months after my son was born to realize that I was going down a scary, unhealthy path and that I would more than likely take my kids with me. I felt an overwhelming sense of dooming them to an unhealthy lifestyle and self hate. Coupled with the idea of more and more teen suicides, I felt an urgency to change NOW. Not just for my kids but for myself as well.

It took me a while to figure out how to make the necessary changes to make it fit for us and I still have to readjust from time to time. But I keep pushing forward because I know that what I'm gaining is worth it. I'm gaining more time, not less, with my family. I'm gaining more memories with my kids. And let's not forget about their children. I want to be a healthy grandma that is fun and full of life. In order to do that I have to set myself up now, not in 30 years. You see, this is your life. Like, actual life not just lifestyle.

So by taking care of myself I'm able to take better care of my children and give them a better life. And in the end, isn't that the whole point?

Spaghetti squash with tomatoes and spinach as well as Brussels sprouts are what's for dinner in the Pearce house tonight.

If you don't like veggies just keep trying til you find something you like. I never thought I'd like Brussels sprouts and look at me now!

Please don't ever tell me that you can't find the time to workout because you have small kids. I do too. I want you to see how some of my workouts go. Ideal? Haha, no! Done? Yes! This actually turned into a dodge ball game. 😁😬

They also see that I'm making exercise a daily priority and that has been a goal of mine from day 1. As parents we want better for our kids but we have to do things to set them up for the better things. I want my kids to grow up with healthy habits and I know that I'm doing what I need to do to make that happen. πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‚

I work 14 hours tomorrow so I had to prepare all of my meals tonight. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, right? No tomorrow, my friends. 😁

I definitely understand being short on time. I work long hours, have kids, a husband, dogs, a home, blah blah blah. But I've learned how to use my time wisely by making quick meals and extra for lunches. Do you need help with your meals? Ideas, recipes? I can help!

Salad does NOT have to be boring!

I was so worried about eating "weird food" before I started. I also thought I was going to have to eat steamed broccoli and plain, baked chicken. Super barf 🀒, who wants that? Not me!

Even my hubs is impressed with the deliciousness of our food. When I had tried other plans he always talked about eating cardboard but he's not saying that now!

Today's salad has kale, tomato, cucumber, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, hard boiled egg, Parmesan and olive oil. So yummy!
