—BLIND TRANSPARENCY: A Tragic Love Story

Following the story of my 3D model, the cape holds the story of two long lost lovers who ended up marrying other people, but continue to write love letters to one another.

But does declaring their love to each other deem effective if they write in different languages?

With the message of my pieces throughout the semester being "Communication is ineffective without comprehension," I chose to write two love letters written in two different languages and incorporated them onto a transparent cape, where we, the audience, can see that communication is taking place, despite not understanding.

If you understood what you couldn't understand, then I'd call this piece successful.
