It’s good to stretch yourself and learn something new! While it’s a different medium than my mats and paint and a bit of a learning curve with my heavy hand - It definitely helps with the burnout feeling and re-ignites the creative flame I have been lacking!

While the weekend was a busy one filled with errands… I had a little time to sit down with my laser and create this cute adventure board for my girl!

I’ll tell ya, when me and Em are having tough days inside, that’s when I take a break from work and get outside to soak up some sunshine with my lil mini. Usually we stroll around, her little legs trot along… pretty soon she’ll be asking me “what’s this, what’s that”… so I was thinking this little board will be perfect for our strolls!

I’ll be adding them to the shop and you can personalize with your own adventure loving kiddos name 😍 (Also, this is a great alternative to an Easter basket of your wanting to stay away from candy!)

Hi friends! It’s been a minute!…

Not much going on around here, feeling in a bit of a rut - I’m still taking orders and orders are still going out! But also, been trying to figure out what the heck is going on with social media. Is it pictures? Is it reels? Is it hashtags or posting at certain times? Sheesh! It really is a fully time job - and I’ll admit, it defeats me trying to figure it out! So rather than post daily, I just turn it off…

While I have been gone from positing, I have been trying to teach myself a new skill. This is the first hand engraved baseball hat I have made of a few that I’m not embarrassed to wear out in the real world 😂 Actually, it’s rare to see me most days without a hat… I love them (and it hides my mess I got going on since I haven’t seen my Stephanie in like a million months!)

What do we think? Do we like? Are they shop worthy? Let me know cause I think they would be so cute to sport this spring!

Hi friends! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it!

I have missed you so… and my soul has missed creating. The past-almost year off has been a good reset for me! I went back to my old job (I’ll have been there 11 years at the end of the month, with my year and a half break 😝) and gotten to not miss a single moment of watching my little Em grow! She turns a year on Monday… soon off to college lol!

I have gone back and forth on my comeback - and although I don’t have the desire to go full time with my shop again…least today… I think getting to be creative again is the thing I need in life…

With that said! A few questions:

Should I bring back doormats…magnetic door decor…something new? Do you like shops that have everything posted to purchase whenever or scheduled restocks?

Things will be a bit different this go around, but getting my feet wet and some feedback from you will help me!

Hi friends!! Well, I guess I should pop on here and give ya all an update on life since it’s been awhile…

To be honest, I have tried to put this out a few different times and I have struggled with what to share… so here it goes…

I have decided to go back to work! I have felt the pull for awhile, especially after having Em. Not only have I been feeling burned out and defeated by seeing things ripped off my shop, but I have been in a creative funk for awhile… I like to do my own thang and worry so much about what to do. “Should I make cups? No, so and so does them”… “How about do signs again? No, this maker friend does them and I don’t want to compete”… “OH WAIT, I can… NOPE! You already know someone that makes that Haylee”…

If your a maker, I’m sure you can relate to this! I never want to step on toes, especially those who have become close to me! I struggle a lot with why I started my business - which was a hobby turned into extra income for my doctor and hospital visits. But I miss painting because I want to, not because I have to. I need to step it back and make it my hobby again.

As for my work, Somehow the stars aligned and I ended up getting a text “so you want to come back?”… and here we are a few weeks later, my second official first week of work at SGI/WWE 💙

For now, my shop is on vacation mode. I haven’t decided what to do. Apart of me has major FOMO with the holidays happening - I love everything about holiday orders! But being a maker, I haven’t been able to enjoy them for the past 4/5 years because I spread myself so thin and am such a people pleaser! I will take orders up till Christmas Day and sacrifice time celebrating the season with my family. This year, I want to soak up every magical moment I can with my loved ones and not feel the hustle and bustle! Time goes so fast - as I am being reminded with a new baby! I am excited to create some memories with my little family!

I’ll be on here and there, and while I’m figuring out my shop, don’t be a stranger! I still want to hear how your all doing and I can’t wait to shop small business this season 😘❤️
