Received an electric underblanket for Christmas - can highly recommend them to warm the bed prior to use.

Nature is switching on it's autumnal signs here in the UK. Perhaps some of you would like to go blackberry picking to make some delicious crumble or whatever with? Have a nice bank holiday weekend.:)

It's Earth Overshoot Day today. Let's all just try and do what we can - it's still a beautiful world.

We have probably all seen the news about climate change; so please try and do what you can to reduce your fossil fuel usage and keep temperatures down.

Sorry I haven't been posting - had a lot of techy and other problems to sort out. Beginning to get back on track again. Well it's GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK this week. Hope you are all trying to find ways to live a healthier, greener lifestyle. Even just finding ways to cook using less energy or ways to cut your water usage all help. At least it's summer now so salads can come to the fore.:)

Hope you're all able to "get out there" and enjoy some of this lovely sunshine. Picnic time is here - don't forget the sunscreen and a sun hat if you have one. Nights are still chilly so keep the fleeces or jumpers to hand. Have a Happy holiday weekend:)
