Seriously thankful for my sweet husband and my beautiful family🤍It’s been a little stressful for me with exams and assignments lately and this is a precious reminder of why and who I’m doing this for. Studying Naturopathic & nutritional medicine has been a dream of mine & Im so thankful I get to do this ...even if it’s challenging and stretching me!
CHIA PUDDING - one of my favourite healthy home-made treats! Chia seeds are my favourite plant based omega 3 source with healthy anti-inflammatory benefits, high in protein and low glycemic, soothing and healing for gastro intestinal conditions.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp h**p seeds
250ml filtered water
Stevia
Blend h**p seeds and filtered water in a high speed blender for 60 seconds to make h**p milk (I often make a double or triple batch and store in fridge). In a seperate container add chia seeds, stevia and 250ml h**p milk ( you can filter the h**p milk if desired, however I like it as it is and it keeps all the nutritional benefits). Mix continually for a few minutes and make sure it begins to blend/absorb. Add more liquid if needed. Place in the fridge to keep cool and top with favourite berries, coconut yogurt, chopped nuts and enjoy!
