Have you ever wondered about the stories behind the church hymns that you sing? Hymns were written by men and women who kept the faith in our God the Creator through hard trials and tribulations. Their stories and hymns have inspired many to keep to the faith and to have a deeper relationship with Christ our Redeemer. I encourage you to take some time to sit and read some of the stories from the books on the provided book list with your children or class, then sing the hymns to honor and worship our Lord together.

This resource was created so that your children may get a deeper understanding of the authors of the hymns and their stories of faith by taking time to record what they find and to think about the hymns written.

Included for their journal are pages for the Hymn author bio, a hymn history, hymn listening response, hymn copy work, musical term cards, and music tempo and dynamics information pages. A hymn stories book list has also been provided.

What is MEGA BUNDLE?

I love that I can give my son the supplies along with the topic kit, and he does the work himself!

You can print your own photos or the kids can draw their own. You can also find many lap book downloads online. The one pictured is my Ireland lap book kit located in my shop—link in bio.

We used the Ireland book. It is filled with fun facts that cover geography, science, and history integrated with biblical principles and positive character traits for children.
