We’d like to take a second to thank all of you for such a blast we had this weekend on the road. Thank you Jeff and The Music Factory, our buddies Beyond the Fathoms, the Cavalcade crew, and Dropped At Birth for some rockin’ out in Battle Creek. Thanks to The Ruin Fort Wayne for your hospitality, the masters Seventh Crown for tearing it up… and to Truckstop (if you haven’t heard of these guys give them a listen, they RULE) along with the dudes in Damage for making Saturday unforgettable. BIG LOVE to our BarnRocker family for coming out and supporting, you know who you are… it’s a shame that Cracker Barrel was the worst in the world. 🤣 And again sorry to our Chicago peeps for cancelling last minute. Thanks so much to Liar's Club and Gary for being so hospitable and understanding. We will make it up to you. Sorry we missed our homies in Las Cruces… we’ll make this happen again soon. Didn’t get to meet the guys in Pray For Death but we heard a lot of good things about y’all. Maybe we will cross paths again.

HEY CHICAGO,

DUE TO A SUDDEN ILLNESS IN THE C/S CAMP WE UNFORTUNATELY CAN’T PERFORM TONIGHT AT LIAR’S CLUB.

We left Ft. Wayne this morning and Jessi had a small scratch in his voice. We pulled into the venue a few hours later, went to get dinner and by the time we hit the restaurant Jessi had almost completely lost his voice and started feeling under the weather. We considered playing instrumental but it just wouldn’t be the same and plus he could be getting even sicker as time goes on… we just need to get him home.

We apologize to Liars Club, Las Cruces and Pray For Death… we will make it up to you we promise. We will be back soon, Chicago. Thanks for all your love and support.

We just want to say thanks so much and send some love to all of you who follow and support us. We are really lucky to have such awesome people who dig us so much. Everyone always wonders what else they can do to help promote Chokesetter and spread the word. I came across a post from another musician that I wanted to share, doing a little bit of adding and edits to make it fit for us!!

There are many different ways you can continuously help promote Chokesetter and our efforts. Here’s some examples.

You can share music on your profile directly from Chokesetter streaming services or on our social media pages, and always add a caption to your post so people know what you're doing.

If you have Chokesetter t-shirts or other merch, wear them to other shows as much as you can. The more people see you wearing the merch, the more they will be inclined to seek out the band.

Text, email or dm the people you know. Talk about the band to a stranger. Mention our name in music posts on Facebook. Make it a point to tell someone new once a week, every day, whichever you choose.. Word of mouth is the best!

Tell everyone to check us out on all social media platforms, streaming services, etc. If we are playing a town you have friends in, push them to come see us live. Tell them to come meet us and let us know you sent them our way!!!

Request Chokesetter to be checked out or contacted by other venues, promoters, regional bands, etc. The more a regional music scene hears/sees our name the more it’s highly whispered everywhere.

Keep in mind the more you do this the more it helps whatever band you wish to let other people know about.

IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT WE MUST ANNOUNCE WE HAVE TO CANCEL OUR PERFORMANCE TONIGHT AT Hobart Art Theatre WITH Crowbar AND PRIMITIVE MAN.
THE SHOW IS STILL GOING ON, HOWEVER WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING. WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE. IF YOU BOUGHT TICKETS FROM US THEY ARE STILL VALID, DON’T WORRY!!

For anyone that knows us or attended any of our shows last week, Larry our drummer has been playing with a minor wrist fracture. Applying support and pressure with bandage tape and using anti inflammatories were helping him get through this run of gigs, but within the past couple of days he’s been experiencing more discomfort and swelling to the wrist area so he was told to refrain from performing tonight. He is having a minor surgery on the wrist this Friday and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Tonight will still be a good show, even without us… so please enjoy yourselves and support the bands. We will be back 100% for our November dates. Until then thanks to all of you and much love… see you again soon!!!!!

Wow. Last night.
Last night had to be one of the best hometown shows we ever had. The turnout was amazing. The crowd hype was amazing. And everyone on the bill had nothing short of an awesome performance.
Thanks so much to our new family Mississippi Bones for making your long awaited performance here in Misha-tonky. And it was good to hang with y’all before and after for some laughs and refreshments. Jared, I’ll have a burrito for you next time. Promise.
Special thanks to our Negative Nancy homies for another night of sharing the stage together all these years… for how long now? And amidst all of us being in various other bands throughout the years, Nancy has kept it consistent. Much love always.
