Can we help James here? His dad was a part of the 567 club
Hello, my name is James Van Domselaar and I’m trying to locate my fathers old ‘57 Chev 210 4 door wagon. Jim was my Dads name and around Fort Sask he was known as Mr Chevy. Here is what I know at this point - He sold the car to Bill Storr in the early eighties and Bill sold it to a Chris Jesche or Jeske in the late eighties. It was red when last seen I have been told. It had fibreglass front fenders and a fibreglass lift off hood. I’d really love to find it and fix it up into a hot rod again. Here is a picture of my Dad in the car at Speedway way back. The car ran 13.1’s and 2’s.
All the best for 2021, have a Happy New Year, and stay safe.
On Saturday Sept 19 the Edmonton & Area 567 club were invited to the Annual Community League Day at Wellington Park. We would like to Thank the following members that brought out their “rides” for the show which had just a little over 20 vehicles on display.. Those present were Don Stuparyk , Geoff Scott, Brian Cherneski, Glen Kamisky & Jim Kennedy.. The Wellington Park council wishes to Thank our club & those who came out.
Have you been driving your rides?
Held on a cold, windy & cloudy Saturday Aug.29 here are some of our members that braved the weather to be at the Tri 5 & Muscle swap meet... Did you come and say hello?
one of our Beary special all time supporters.
On August 1st a few of us from the club cruised over to Ivan & Angie Perry’s place near Gibbons.. They gave us a “grand Tour” of their set-up and even took some pics of some of our “rides”.. A very Hospitable Couple, we were treated very well on our visit with them.. Angie has expressed interest in doing our future calendar “shoot” out there for us.. Hopefully for 2022 we can get a calender to-gether with her expertise assisting us.
The club went to Calmar on July 19 to their local Burger & Ice cream shop.. We had 7 members cruise out there, Jim & Dougie had some mechanical issues with their “rides” but still attended.. Kudos go out to Wade, Mark, Roy, Don for bringing out their “rides”.. It is a nice cruise, we should do it again before the Snow flies..
Note: our July Meeting is July 8th.
See you there.
Contact Jim for more info if needed.
send in your photos of your cars, and we will show it off here.

Email from Wade (for those who do not get them)
At our regular monthly meetings we had 12 attendees in February and 17 attendees in March. I know many of you, due to current virus situation, are staying home and practicing social distancing in an effort to stay safe and that is good.
We want all our members to stay safe and healthy. If you want you can find information discussed as our meetings as the minutes are posted on our web site, edmonton567club.com.
For those that wish to attend, the April meeting will take place, 7pm April 1 at National RV Siding. We will practice social distancing at the meeting much like you have seen in super markets and businesses that are still in operation during this stressful time. Unfortunately the food and beverages will not be a part of the meetings going forward for obvious reasons.
-Wade
