⏳Time is running out to donate to the Food from the Heart campaign! ❤️
There are less than 24 hours left to help us reach our goal of restocking shelves at the local food pantries. When you donate non-perishable items, you are helping your fellow community members in needs.
⬇️The donation box is set up near the service desk at the Bennington Price Chopper.
📮If you cannot make it to the store and would still like to contribute, you may send a monetary contribution via U.S. Mail to the Norshaft Lions Club, P.O. Box 179, Shaftsbury, VT 05262
🦁 Will you join us?? 🦁
❤ Happy Valentine's Day ❤
❤Once a year, beginning around Valentine's Day, Lions Clubs across Vermont reach out to their communities to raise items for local food shelves via the civic organization's Food from the Heart program.
Following the holidays, local shelters start running low on food and have few resources available to them. That's when the Lions Club help to pitch in. Local Lions Club members recognized the need to keep valuable, local food resources stocked, so they set out to do something about it.
The Norshaft Lions Club will be working with the Bennington Price Chopper/Market 32 for this year's Food from the Heart effort.
Lions Club members encourage area residents to drop off any non-perishable food items between Sunday February 11th and Sunday February 18th. A box will be set up at the front of the store to collect all donations.
If you cannot make it to the store and would still like to contribute, you may send a monetary contribution via U.S. Mail to the Norshaft Lions Club, P.O. Box 179, Shaftsbury, VT 05262.
