Lots of new faces, and I'm glad to see them! My name is M'Liss and I own Keys Bungalows. Also pictured is my husband Joey who is in school to be a game warden, while we're out doing our favorite thing, fishing in the gorgeous Florida Keys.
Me and my team run vacation rentals in the middle keys. I've been at it for 6 years, and now that we have moved back to Marathon, I figured now is a great time to expand!

Since I will never write a book and today is the 28th anniversary of TRUE LIES being released I thought I would share this picture. This was three days before my 35th birthday. We were doing the sequence where Helen is in the runaway limousine and Harry is flying above her in the helicopter. Obviously I did a bunch of it on the road but so did my stunt double, Donna Keegan. The stunt itself of course was one of the most spectacular ever done and Donna deserves all of that credit but we did need a shot of me post being pulled out of the limousine over the burning wreckage. In order to get the shot we had to wire me to the helicopter at base camp and then fly for 20 minutes over the water to get to the 7 mile bridge where the wreckage took place. In the photograph is Joel Kramer who doubled Arnold on the skid and that's James Cameron hanging out of the passenger seat with the camera. Chuck Tamburo was the pilot and the only requirement I had for the sequence was that somebody have wire cutters in the helicopter in case they had to ditch over water so that I could be separated from it. I saw manatees and it was late afternoon and it was a glorious ride on a wire all thanks to James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Bahia Honda’s first loggerhead nest hatched today. There were a of couple stragglers that did not make it to the ocean. They will be released later tonight. The park currently has 31 nests and 46 false crawls.
As more nests hatch we will let you know. Remember to give our young guests lots of room if you happen to see them on the beach.

Hi There! My name is M’Liss
I rent out mine and my mom’s house in the beautiful Marathon, Florida. I lived in the keys for 6 years as a marine biologist, then met my husband who dragged me (kicking and screaming) to Montana. I rent our houses out so we can keep them to take family vacations together, and me and my husband would love to retire in sunny beautiful paradise when we are wrinkly and grey. Something about dying together holding pina coladas in the sun really warms my heart.
I am honored to be able to help people make lifelong memories with their families at our houses. It warms my heart when people are spending anniversaries, birthdays, or just precious quiet time at our houses, and I know they’ll look back on that time with their loved ones fondly at our beautiful, quaint houses.
