We proudly share that, Agalateya member, Karim Ragab took home the Ironman 140.6 medal! Competing on the challenging course at Lake Placid last Sunday, Karim finished with an impressive time of 14:24:01 and maintained a pace of 6:52 min/km.
What an incredible achievement! Well done, Ironman!
Today’s Ice Cream Ride took a different route, starting from the famous Tannery Park instead of the regular Centennial Bikeway. The ride was light and enjoyable, covering nearly 20 km. At the end, the cyclists had fun recreating the very first Agalateya ride photo taken at Tannery Park four years ago.

Velocity was a lot of fun this year, even though our presence was smaller due to the “Eid” cancellations. A few Agalateya Cyclists joined the cycling crowd, while our on-site team invented a new pickleball game for the grass surface. We also welcomed some visitors to our tent and ended the day with a relaxing Tai Chi session led by Dushica. You’ll have a chance to try Tai Chi at the Agalateya picnic day.
After wrapping up, we headed back to the Halton region for a day filled with more Agalateya activities.
Thanks to everyone who helped today. Stay tuned and Eid Mubarak!

Happy Global Running Day, Agalateya!
Today, the world celebrates running every first Wednesday of June. It's a day to encourage everyone to get out there and run. Three years ago, Agalateya expanded the activities to include running, and since then, we have been running while empowering volunteers to become coaches and citizens to become marathoners. Here’s to more runs and races to come!
Just keep running to the top, Agalateya People!
