I'm so excited about a few things I've got coming up! I have a guided meditation/sound bath next week on 7/31 at Willowdale Holistic Center, another sound bath on 8/14 and office hours at The Three Peaces. I also have office hours in my home studio again for energy work sessions (Reiki, Angel healing, sound healing) and EFT tapping.
After leaving my teaching career, I was struggling with the loss of my identity as a teacher. That sent me spiraling and it wasn't until I started using holistic alternatives such as Reiki, meditation, and crystals in conjunction with life coaching that I was truly able to leave the failure of my teaching career behind and break free from the trauma in my past.
I became a certified life coach and sound healer, Reiki master, EFT, and IET practitioner to be able to help others break free from obstacles that are holding them back 💫

It’s a beautiful Japanese art form where broken pottery is repaired with gold, transforming it into something even more exquisite than before. "Kintsugi" means “to join with gold,” and it’s not just about fixing what’s broken, but about embracing transformation. The cracks, now filled with gold, highlight the beauty in our imperfections, reminding us that our scars are part of our story.
This philosophy resonates deeply with Cassie, the creator of this incredible collaborative project I am grateful to be a part of, "What I Wish I Had Heard: Stories From Our Inner Child." The golden threads in Kintsugi symbolize the strength and beauty within us, showing that despite the hardships and labels placed on us as children, we are enough just as we are.
No matter how broken we may feel, the gold runs through us, too. This book is a testament to that truth and a heartfelt effort to heal and empower the next generation. It has been a privilege to join forces with my fellow authors to bring these powerful stories to light. Together, we can ensure that our children grow up knowing their worth, free from the burdens we once carried.

It's important to acknowledge where we are and then create affirmations that can support us in moving forward from that point. This approach can lead to more sustainable progress and growth.

In this week’s episode, I share how I was so desperate to find strategies and tools in a self-help book that I was reading for the third time. As I read it, I became more disheartened because I couldn’t appreciate how special I was as an individual or embrace affirmations making them part of my daily routine.
Had I been able to have compassion and grace for myself I would have been able to embrace my uniqueness and be more open to affirmations that were relevant to what I needed in that moment.

In this week’s episode, I share a crazy embarrassing storytime about how I heard something outside late at night and thought it was someone in my driveway but I started to second guess myself since my husband didn’t hear it and my dogs didn’t react.
After hearing the noise again a few minutes later, my husband trusted my instincts and went to check. He wasn’t prepared to see a group of guys walking up our driveway and immediately started thinking the worst.
When they approached our door, one was wearing a ski mask that covered his face, and my husband called 911. We immediately went into panic mode thinking they were breaking into our home.
Little did we know it definitely wasn't it! 😆🫣
