...on a journey to discover God...
As a teenager, I desired to know who God was, and who I was in relationship to God. I was not satisfied with the easy answers I received, and I was not able to find resources for me to explore God for myself. All I wanted was someone or some way to illuminate the dark path I was on. I needed to quench my thirst. It was not until I was older until I found practices and meaningful prayers that help me be with God. My intention is to not provide answers to peoples daily struggles, but to provide a way for our lives to be acknowledged, and to help teenagers and young adults be aware of God’s presence. In 2018, I created this website. It’s nothing fancy, but hopefully it will be helpful for your journey.
Discovering God is all about growing close to God. The invitation to follow God is before us, but it is not always simple to find. It’s also not popular in our society to acknowledge the Christian quest. We are too busy pretending to know the answers as to not be ashamed for not knowing who God is and how God calls us. The reality is that God is full of wonder, and our calls to follow Jesus are complex. Others who have the same questions and struggles about faith are hiding among us. This site illuminates pathways toward Jesus in the midst of a difficult journey. We hope the quick prayers and prayer practices found here quench your thirst to learn parts of God’s character, and to explore your own identity in Jesus. Furthermore, we know that the journey with God is not meant to be a solitary one, so we encourage you to seek others who are also seekers, and journey with them.
