I love taking photos, something I imagine so many people can relate to. I have been reminiscing about the experience of taking a good photo-- five, ten, fifteen, twenty plus years ago. Spending time framing in a shot, and then enhancing it in a darkroom (aka washroom)...we have so much at our fingertips now. The art of a good photo is loving what you see, and then capturing a translation of it.
One of my favourite pics this summer is the photo above of all of the free products I received from Young Living Canada when I placed my first 400 PV order.
THIS photo is one of my summer favourites because it captures an "AHA" moment with my relationship to Young Living oils and the company itself. As a farmer's daughter, I was the girl in the dirt, driving the tractor, working with our horses, milking the cow, walking through "mudpies" barefoot...Putting in fencing, making friends with our beef cattle...you get what I'm saying? I was the girl outside, not much for being inside, and not the canning aficionado that my siblings and mom and, well, probably just about everyone else in my family is...

Today I canned my own peach salsa, thanks to my friends' mom for the peaches, some organic corn from a local grocer, and all of the rest from my own mom's fantastic garden. So gratifying!

What is not to love about homemade food? I have no second thoughts about the ingredient list, or the packaging.
