I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, providing counseling for residents of Bozeman, MT.

A little bit about me...

Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, so I am able to counsel those persons residing in Georgia. In 2013 I earned my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was a nurse for six years, so I am very passionate about holistic health and healing - mental, physical, and spiritual. Over the past few years, I have gained counseling experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and college campus settings . I have extensive experience working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, identity/self-esteem, and relationship issues. I thoroughly enjoy working with married couples who are in distress. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and also God's ability to restore broken marriages. I am certified through Prepare-Enrich to provide pre-marital counseling.

I am a Southern girl at heart, living in the Northwest, with my husband of seven years and our sweet one year old son. We love to hike, camp, and experience the outdoors. I love being a wife, mother, and counselor. During college, I experienced my own depression, related to some traumatic events from my childhood, so I sought counseling, and God used it to change my life. As a result, ever since then, I have felt God's calling on my life to be a counselor, to help others achieve joy, peace, and balance in their lives. I love the process of counseling - of listening to someone's story, sitting with them through their hurt and pain, and helping them to identify and achieve their goals. I believe that Jesus was the greatest Counselor to ever walk this earth. He knew that the way to people's hearts was through genuine listening and unconditional love. As a counselor, I aspire to be like Him, to genuinely love each and every person who walks through my door. I believe that God's love changes people.

Being raised in a Christian home, and having accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord, I have a special calling in my life to provide Christian, Biblical counseling to those Christians who are seeking help. My counseling style is friendly, warm, and interactive. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Solutions-Focused, and Relational Therapy, but I will tailor my style to fit your specific needs and wishes. I enjoy being flexible and open to new issues as they develop.

I am eager to get to know you, and to help you grow, through the power of prayer and also the application of Biblical principles to your life. Hope to hear from you!
